Region: Wojcieszów, Złotoryja County, Jelenia Góra, Lower Silesia, southwestern Poland.

Geological Formation: Part of the Sudetes geological structure, this marble has been quarried for centuries and was historically valued for architectural and sculptural applications.

Mineral Content:

Primarily calcite. Small amounts of dolomite, quartz, and minor silicate minerals.

Tiles: Typically 30x30, 40x40, 60x30, 60x40 cm.

Custom sizes: Often available for historical restoration or specific projects.

Current Quarry Status

Kapela Rozowy Marble / Kaufunger Marmor is no longer actively quarried on a large commercial scale. Existing stock may be sourced from old inventories, reclaimed stone, or smaller artisanal quarries in the region.
