Nuvolato Di Gre Marble

Nuvolato di Gre Marble is a striking breccia dolomitica known for its veined and brecciated appearance. It features a very fine gray grain, displaying light and dark shades interspersed with white calcite veining. This carbonatic lithotype is a highly compact sedimentary rock characterized by a heterogeneous and intensely brecciated texture, showcasing the unique geological history of the region.
Dating back approximately 228 to 209 million years, to the late Triassic period (specifically the Norian period), Nuvolato di Gre Marble has ancient origins. Initially extracted in small quantities during the 1950s, it became available thanks to mining research authorized by the Lombardy Region and years of dedicated work.
This natural gray marble stone is particularly valued for its versatility and durability, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Its resistance to weathering, foot traffic, and acids makes it an excellent choice for flooring, wall cladding, and various furnishing elements. Whether used in residential or commercial settings, Nuvolato di Gre Marble combines aesthetic elegance with functional strength, enhancing the beauty and longevity of any space.
