Orsa Sandsten is a beautiful sandstone from the forest of Dalarna. It was created about 370 million years ago in connection with a meteorite crashing in the area around Orsa. The iron particles of the meteorite have given the sandstone its warm red tone. We call it nature's own terracotta. It is smooth but with a fine-grained feeling.. This stone is especially good for building stone, masonry, pavers, monuments, pool coping, sills, ornamental stone, interior, exterior and other design projects.
