GNEISS Ltd. was founded in 1994 in the town of Ivailovgrad, Bulgaria. The company specializes in the mining, processing and trading of gneiss.
Gneiss is a natural stone, metamorphic rock with a high content of feldspar and mica. As a result, the gneisses we extract in our quarries are beautiful with a naturally rough surface and a typical metal or silky gloss. The colors of the plates depend on the predominant minerals in the structure: silver-gray, golden-beige, silver-gray-brown, golden-beige-brown.
Gneiss slabs are extremely robust, frost-resistant and waterproof; they are not polished and have a natural rough nonslip surface. They are perfect for both outdoor finishes and pavements (cladding of buildings, alleys, paths, swimming pools, fences, fireplaces, masonry) as well as for interior design that contribute to a healthy environment living and connection with nature.
