Granit Silver Pavements - South-Eastern Chorda Station Project

South-Eastern Chorda is a multi-lane expressway in Moscow, uniting 10 districts and crossing 5 major highways. Its construction began in 2019 with a section on the Enthusiastov highway. The length of the highway is 36 kilometers. The chord is designed to optimize traffic in the south-east of the city and provide a connection with the territories of New Moscow.

During the construction of the expressway, 59,402 pg. m of curbs, 22,489 m² of slabs and 482 tactile slabs were used for paving pedestrian areas. Seraya Gora granite, as well as Severo-Uralsky and Belogorsky granites were chosen for the production of the products.

These rocks are united by durability, medium-grained structure and basic gray color, which is found in most of the objects of improvement of Moscow. The use of these granite rocks guarantees durability and reliability of pedestrian pavements on the South-Eastern Chord.

Iskra Park Residential Quarter with Dymovsky Granite

Iskra Park residential quarter is a business class project on Leningradsky Prospekt in the historical center of Moscow by Hals Development. The general contractor for the project is ZAO FODD.

ROK manufactured and delivered more than 3,000 m² of cladding slabs for the project. The slabs were of non-standard sizes and some of them were rusticated.

It is also worth noting that the slabs were made from granite deposits located in different countries. Some slabs are made of granite Dymovsky, and others - from granite Kurtinsky.

Dymovsky granite is extracted in Russia, and more precisely in the Leningrad region. The stone possesses heterogeneous medium-grained structure and beautiful color. The color of granite is red-brown with light or golden veins and inclusions. It is widely used due to its decorative qualities and strength characteristics.

Kurtinsky granite is mined in Kazakhstan. Its color can be described as the color of cappuccino, that is, the stone has a gentle brown tint.
