The first studies on the Pietra Dorata Stone date back to 1934. This prized variety of sandstone, extracted in Italy exclusively from the Tuscany valleys of Manciano (GR), is considered a highly valuable decorative material. Over the past few decades, it has become a top choice for elegant finishes both nationally and internationally. Its uniqueness lies in the fossils embedded within its millennia-old stratifications, forming wavy patterns that create multicolored and undulating designs, intertwined in garlands and rings. These natural patterns integrate harmoniously with various architectural and decorative projects. Other colors extracted from the quarry include the luminous, elegant, and brilliant Grigio Perla, which serves as the base color of the stone, and the distinctive Rosso Etrusco.
