It's Breton's ContourFive NC 700, that was specially developed to machine workpieces featuring a complex 3D shape.
ContourFive 700 is a CNC shaping, contouring, cutting and turning centre with five inter-polated axes and a fixed worktable, that offers the users the possibility of performing mul-tiple and complex machining operations which would otherwise require several machines:
- sawing of slabs and small blocks into workpieces utilising the saw blade
- shaping of either large or small blocks utilising the saw blade to get large pieces with complex shape, such as capitals, banisters, tanks, fireplace components, etc.
- shaping and dishing out utilising millers to get shower trays, sinks, vases, bas-reliefs, engravings, etc.
- contouring utilising shaped tools to produce statues, kitchen tops, tombstones, components for funerary art, etc.
- turning of columns with shaped profiles or machining of columns to create a twisted ef-fect all along the surface

ContourFive NC 700 stands out thanks to its performances:
- mobile bridge structure enabling an excellent access to the worktop
- short beam ensuring top rigidity
- "rapid" movements of up to 40 metres/minute
- possibility of working with saw blades, shaped tools, drills, millers, etc.
- mobile carrousel-type tool-store with 27 cells + 1 (optional) cell for the saw blade

The new automatic edge polishing machine BORDI P702 for square edges is made with frontal floating spindles for polishing marble and granite edges. The structure of the machine has a high protection degree against corrosion thanks to a sturdy electrowelded steel frame which is first sand blasted and onto which are applied different layers of painting with a zinc epoxy primer. The conveyor belt slides on steel ground plates 12 mm thick. The protection and covering guards of the BORDI P702 are made of stainless steel. Front and beveling spindles are chromed with inner shaft suitable for the use of abrasives of diameter 130 and 150 mm. The BORDI P702 is equipped with a tank for collecting water with a side drainage. Each spindle is automatically controlled for the whole processing cycle with the possibility to program the length of the edge to be polished.

The edge-polishing machine BORDI T804 and BORDI T604 are completely automatic machines that, thanks to their versatility, allow to easily range from the plain step to kitchen countertops. These machines, made of a thick steel study structure, are carefully ground in all the parts, and then assembled after being electro-welded, sandblasted and treated with special painting systems. The belt slides on ground stainless steel plates of 12 mm, and is guided by a double self-greasing belt allowing different types of processing without the use of the guiding bar. The protection guards and the electric board are made of stainless steel. The moving parts of the machine are constantly lubricated by means of an automatic greasing system. The advanced electronics manage each spindle in the different kind of processing, as for example the partial polishing of the edge, the choice of the abrasive diameter and the possibility to polish irregular shapes.

Workshops performing inlay or special flat processing for which it is necessary to make high accuracy cuts will surely welcome this new product of SIMEC, made exactly to be used where absolute accuracy and speed in making geometries is needed but where contouring machines are not necessary or suitable.

CAL 160 calibrating-polishing machine has been developed and carried out for calibrating and polishing marble strips or sized tiles and for removing possible defects coming from previous processes, in order to give to the product a homogeneous thickness and visual agreability. This machine is equipped with 1 vertical spindle, which mount 1 x Ø 700 calibrating cup with a removable crown to which the diamond-studded tools are welded, and 2 polishing spindles supporting 2 x Ø 700 plates.
The height adjustment of the calibrating spindle is made individually, it is electrical and visualized, while the polishing spindles work by compressed air. All the spindles lift automatically when there is no material on the belt. Belt speed is adjustable by means of a speed variator.

KSD 1 is a multifunction machine ideal to automate the process for the performance of pre-set systems for fixing of slabs, claddings and panels in marble, stone and ceramic for interior and exterior applications.
The 2 independent bridges system, each one equipped with 1 ISO 40 electro-spindle, allows to carry-out processing operation in parallel way so reducing production times. CNC technology and software grant sequential programming of different types of processing, so avoiding handling or manual works or processing by the use of machines.
The great flexibility is guaranteed by the conveyor belts: it widen and shrink automatically according on the width of the piece to be processed.
