MOBILE CHAIN SAW FOR SQUARING BLOCKS Chain saw on tractor JCB
The Fantini cutting system has been produced for squaring the blocks on the face wall as well as in the working areas of the quarry. The cutting unit is transported on a wheeled tractor fast moving and positioning in front of the blocks to be squared. The whole operation is fast and does not need any auxiliary personnel nor water.

The Benetti's chain saw model CSM 962 is an extremely robust design machine, which can perform primary vertical and horizontal cuts in limestone, marble, and travertine, even in dry conditions.
All movements of the machine are controlled by means of reversible hydraulic transmissions systems, which allow a continuous speed adjustment.

Electric diamond belt sawing machine, designed to make tunnel cuts, vertical and horizontal. The JET BELT 940 is composed of two columns with two telescopic extensions for the machine fixing, connected with an horizontal beam of 462 cm that bears the electric cutting unit. This is composed of the main motor and the cutting arm with the diamond belt installed. The column bases are motorized for an easy positioning of the whole structure. The cutting tool consists of aspecial plastic belt with sintered diamond segments. Only water is used during the cutting phase, both for lubrication and cooling, so that no dust is produced during the cutting phase. Another advantage of diamond belt cutting system respect to the traditional one, is that no grease or oil are used, so that the cut is very clean and free from pollution load.

Diamond belt sawing machine for vertical and horizontal cuts. The cutting tool consists of a special plastic belt with sintered diamond segments. Only water is used during the cutting phase, both for lubrication and cooling. The system can really be considered “ecological”, because no grease or oil are used during the working phase, so that to prevent dust production and grease pollution. The SUPER JET BELT 950 is electric driven, with electronic control of speed and advance; it can cut up to 400 cm depth.

The dust Aspirator completely removes the dust in the horizontal cut position as well as in the vertical one. The dust is unload at one side of the sliding rail by a worm screw system.
Before entering in the filtering chamber the dust passes through a pre-chamber which allows to remove the big parts.

UNDERGROUND MACHINE Mod. Gu.50-R-SC/T
This chain saw can make vertical and horizontal cut against the underground face wall. It is a self propelled machine on tracks and completely autonomous in movements, besides it is equipped with a rotation fifth wheel. Only one operator is needed to operate the chain saw. This model of machine can make a cut until 2,0 m of depth in hard stones.

MOBILE CHAIN SAW FOR SQUARING BLOCKS Mod. 70 BUC
It is a self propelled chain saw machine on tracked trolley for only vertical cut up to 4,0 m. of depth. The chain saw machine is equipped with one self translating rail and hydraulic pistons. It can self move in different areas of the quarry to cut and square the blocks with no need of water. All the movements of the machine are operated by a hydraulic system with main pump connected to an endotermic diesel motor. The endotermic diesel motor starts the pump for tracks movement.

CHAINTRONIC CH60
Chain saw on which all drives are electric and controlled by Inverters. The higher energy efficiency with respect to hydraulic systems and the specific tool arrangement offer significantly better cutting speeds and tool life.

The SV-C/70 mod. chain saw has been designed and built to execute vertical and frontal cuts on large banks or large blocks in ornamental stone quarries, and does not require water cooling.

The machine is mounted on a fifth wheel track system enabling it to negotiate even the most difficult terrain, and the endothermic diesel motor guarantees autonomy and independence. It is capable of achieving cutting depths of up to 6.2 m (length) and 7.0 m (height).

The machine is driven entirely by electric motors to reduce energy demand (due to the higher efficiency with respect to hydrostatic transmissions) also eliminating maintenance problems typical of hydraulic circuits.

The machine consists of the following main parts:

Frame

The welded steel frame is extremely rigid in both torsion and bending to ensure the absence of deformation guaranteeing limited mechanical loads on the cutting arm and long tool life.

Main Motor

The main 30 kW motor operating at variable speed under the control of an Inverter, driving the chain itself, through an epicycloid gearbox.

The blade rotation system, also with a variable speed motor (Inverter controlled) and an irreversible double worm and crown gearbox for blade rotation;

The motorised blade-swing system, with a 0,75 kW Motor that positions

the blade horizontally or vertically.

Variable speed 3 kW motor with a speed reducer and rack and pinion system, to drive the machine along the track.

A pump set for blade pinion and chain lubrication, with 0,25 Kw motor

Blade

Available in lengths suitable for cutting depths from 2 to 5.6 m, the blade is in special high strength and wear-resistant steel. The blade incorporates channels for both lubricant pipework and for cooling water or air.

The blade edges are machined and drilled to house the wear-plates on which the chain runs during cutting; these replaceable plates are in hardened and tempered steel.

Chain

The special steel chain consists of 8 tool-carrier links. The first 5 links carry one tool, while the others each have two in stepped positions.

This patented arrangement offers high cutting speeds and the best possible resistance to tool wear and breakage. The tools are normally in Tungsten Carbide size 12,7 x 12,7 x 6,5mm and are fastened by a screw so that each tool can be used up to eight times

Track (Rail)

Three tracks are provided (more on request) each of 3m length, and complete with anchoring systems to fasten the machine to the quarry floor.

The three-track system allows continuous machine operation; when track 2 is reached, track 1 can be placed ahead of track 3, with no need to stop the machine.

Walking beam type track

A "walking beam" version is also available with a single track of length 7.5m, allowing 5m travel. Using hydraulic cylinders, the machine can be lifted with the track, the latter then being shifted ahead to continue cutting, with no need for other lifting gear.

A large increase in quarry output can be achieved by combining the use of a chain saw and diamond wire saws.

The chain saw machine model ”NF-7.1” is designated for the extraction of marble and stone blocks in the open sky quarries using the most recent technologies. The chain saw “NF-7.1” permits to improve the performances and to reduce to minimum the cost of the cut.
The chain saw “NF-7.1” is universal: it can execute vertical and horizontal cuts on materials with compression strength higher than 150 Mpa. The movement of the machine is made through a sprocket and rack element assembled on the rails.
The chain
The principal tool of work of the chain saw “NF-7.1” is a modular chain composed of insert-holders having, by means of mechanical fixing with a screw, inserts in tungsten carbide. The chain saw “NF-7.1” can work in manual and automatic thanks to the presence of a control device during the cutting phase.

Thanks further to the experience and to the tests carried out during the last 5 years, the chain saw “NF-7.1” can work in the following climatic conditions:
From -40°C to +40°C (the oil tank is provided with heater for the hydraulic oil in places where the temperature goes below 0°C)
