Chain saw machine

The chain saw model CST 965 is a cutting chain mounted on the rear of a wheeled tractor cab, called Terna.

The machine is self powered and is autonomous both in handling and positioning. It can perform vertical cuts up to the maximum depth of 3.25 meters on marble, limestone and stone materials of similar hardness. The machine is ideal for squaring blocks and for the making series of front cuts.

Arms and chains are available for cutting up to 3.25 meters.

Our company offers the possibility to mount the following chains in order to optimize cutting performance on different materials:

chains 38/40/42 mm with 8 edges tools

42 mm chain with 4 edges tools ;

38/40/42 mm chain with PCD tools for hard stones

Accessories for chain saw

VACUUM

Vacuum designed to remove large quantities of dust and of the waste granular material produced by the chain saw cutting.

The waste material is removed from the accumulation zone adjacent to the cut by means of a fl exible hose and of a suction cup.

The vacuum can be installed on a trailer moving on the rails along with the chain saw.

The waste material is deposited on the ground, in the opposite side of the cut.

WORM

Worm designed to carry and to remove automatically large quantities of dust and of the waste granular material produced by the chain saw cutting.

The cut waste material is carried in the feed-box of the worm, and then deposited on the ground, at 2 meters distance from the cut.

QST3000D chain saw machine on backhoe CAT432 is the last frontier for squaring blocks of marble and stones. QST3000D technology is driven by the very powerful motor of CAT432 and the hydraulic circuit for moving the chain saw was studied together with Caterpillar technicians and our technical staff.The advantages of this technology are a lot o : i.e. you can work day and night and in every weather conditions because the operator inside the cabin can decide the temperatures; you can work without using water ,etc...

QST3000D works with CAT432 for positioning the blade using the control tools inside the cabin and you can modify the inclination using the stabilizers of backhoe; it's also possible to drive the chain saw trough a remote control outside the cabin.

All movements for positioning the blade are on double chromate columns allows to have stability and stiffness; this system is unique and only Dazzini QST3000D use it; all movements are driven by single or double hydraulic cylinders (high reliability, simple and no maintenance costs).

At the end of the cuts, with CAT432 is possible to remove the cuts' dust with only one operator with high safety and speed. CAT432 is 4x4 engine and it can move very easily between quarry's benches for reaching the blocks and starting to square, avoiding to use any other machines.
