Machinery Function Features:
The Corta Topos multidisc, although serving the same purposes of Corta Topos single disc, get a much higher cut cadence due to the presence of multiple discs. The number of cross-cutting heads is variable depending on customer requirements, but overall is not common to find use with works for more than 8 heads. The machines with multiple disks are usually used for the tile cutting (thin plate), it may even be integrated sequentially in a cutting line, whereas the two heads machines are commonly used for the adjustment plates / blocks to a given length .
Automatic positioning of the heads with each other is also another factor in the increase of production. To avoid the handling of stone between each cut, which can represent a large share of the overall cycle time, there is an additional gain in production that goes beyond obtained with the simple addition of cutting discs.
