The new FLOTTER 57/42 automatic edge polisher, for flat edges, is the first machine built with “floating” frontal polishing heads for finishing marble and granite.
The result of years of experience at CMG, the FLOTTER SYSTEM, for high quality finishing and increased production.
The structural integrity of the machine is protected from corrosion thanks to an arc welded heavy-duty steel frame which is sandblasted and then finished with several layers of paint, starting with a base layer of galvanized epoxy. The feed belt runs on precision machined plates which are 12 mm thick.
All of the protective guards, electrical and control box covers of the FLOTTER 57/42 are made of stainless steel.
The frontal rotation polishing and chamfers spindles are chromium plated, and the inside shaft is suitable for 130 and 150 mm diameter spindles. The FLOTTER 57/42 has a tank to collect water with a drain on the side.
Each polishing head is controlled automatically during the entire working cycle with the possibility of programming the lenght of the edge to be polished.

Starting from the firm’s long experience in the cut of tiles and natural stones, a new system has come on top of the traditional cutting machines already improved by Pragma: the waterjet machine SECO 2010. The aim of Pragma engineers was to realize an extremely advanced machine, versatile and easy in its use at the same time. The machine is equipped with a hot galvanized monoblock frame in structural tubular, that incorporates the worktable, the pressure multiplier and the power control board for the axis control. This frame makes the machine easy to be moved and to be used, guaranteeing simple and fast start-up operations.
The electric management of the abrasive dosage and of the work pressure allows a high restraint of the usage costs, and a long length of the machine’s technological components.
The full functionality of the machine in secured both by an original and highly efficient protection system of the guides for the axis motion and by an automatic and independent oil cooling system. This machine allows to calibrate and grind strips of marble. The welded structure of the machine is composed by normalized, ground basement made of electro-welded steel, and by a fixed bridge. Here we show you our concept of completeness.
N° 1 Rectifying spindle assembled on an horizontal axis with manual positioning. The spindle can rectify on the edge 3 mm on a maximum thickness of 4 cm.
N° 1 tilting calibrating spindle assembled on n. 2 orthogonal axes: the vertical one with motorised positioning and keyboard, the horizontal one with manual positioning. The spindle is arranged to be equipped with shaped wheels to rough irregular profiles and can tilt to 45°.
Automatic pre-cutting bevelling spindles (n. 2).
Series of spindles for the edge, the first with diamond wheel generating the bullnose profile with automatic positioning (n. 6).
