Another optional outfit is the I.T.C.? system that corrects the natural tapering of the cut by compensating the high pressure water jet through the Numerical Control. The I.T.C.? system guarantees the realization of top quality products. When the compensation of the I.T.C.? system is running, the water jet is also directed against the advance direction so as to minimize the so-called “tail effect”, thus reducing the acceleration and deceleration ramps near the corners for a faster and more economical cutting cycle.
The optional KMT Streamline PRO pump with a maximum pressure of 6200 bar can be supplied as an alternative to the KMT Streamline pump of 4.130 bar. With 6200 bar, other conditions being equal, the cutting speed increases remarkably and the cutting cost per linear metre is cut down.
Head with 5 interpolated axes for inclined cutting required, for instance, to obtain the 45° grooves. C axis with 450° rotation and A axis with +/- 69° inclination. This device can be equipped with ITC system for automatic jet tapering compensation and with continuous rotation.

The walls of the tank are made of stainless steel, while its bottom consists of a steel plate 8 mm thick.
The axes movements are through hardened helical racks and pinions (Alpha Wittestein, Germany) and linear slideways with preloaded bearings (Bosch Rexroth).
WaterCad? is the software specially developed for the 2D processing; it generates simply and quickly any cutting path with a variety of options: automatic looping and tags insertion, automatic standard cut, small bridges for a one-run cut.
Using WaterCad?, it is possible to select the quantities and different pieces to be inserted in one or more slabs. The Automatic Nesting function is much helpful for optimizing production and minimizing waste.

Maintenance
HyPlex Prime pumps combine HyperJet® technology with direct drive efficiency. The HyPlex Prime is the most reliable ultrahigh-pressure direct drive pump in the world. As the inventors of direct drive technology, Flow provides preventative maintenance interval kits to allow fast and consistent maintenance. Pressure loading tools quickly open the pump to access the replacement components. The same loading tool ensures perfect realignment upon reassembly. This technique is similar to that found on our most advanced 94,000 psi HyperJet pumps. In addition, Flow offers service contracts to eliminate nearly all pump maintenance.
Safety by Design
This pump is designed for safe, reliable, continuous operation at 55,000 psi [3,800 bar] in tough industrial cutting applications.
Flow’s pumps are manufactured in an ASME certified facility. ASME certification ensures Flow follows the strict rules of material traceability, design, manufacture and safety of ultrahigh-pressure containment vessels per ASME code Section VIII, Division 3, and is permitted to apply the U3 stamp to components which apply to the code. -
