The Two-Wires Saw Machine of Grani Roc is designed for a high slabbing production from stone blocks. The machine is mobile and has an automatic system for thickness changing. These characteristics make the machine being very versatile and time saving in loading and unloading operations as well as changing the thickness of each cut. In this machine the user can input up to 10 different measurements for the thickness of the slabs and the machine will move automatically the wires and also will adapt the movement of the trolley to obtain the desired cuts.
·The bridge structure and pillars of the machine are built in laminated steel. All surfaces of contact between the different parts are machined for guaranteeing high precision in assembly and also in the cutting process.
· All the steel elements of the structure are subjected to a surface finishing consisting of a deep cleaning and degreasing treatment, a metallization treatment and corresponding protective layers and painting. These treatments enhance the durability of the machine against
aggressive weather and working conditions.
· The main motor is direct in the main pulley, and it is controlled by an electronic frequency variator –inverter-, that permits to apply progressive linear speed to the wire and its adjustment to optimize the behaviour and performance of the tool.

The SPBO profiling machine of GRANI ROC is designed for a high precision dressing of blocks and slabbing and profiling production from stone blocks.
The machine is composed of a static structure and a mobile trolley. All the movements are controlled by a 2 axes CNC panel board.
· The movements of the machine are controlled by a 2 axes CNC. The data can be input directly in the CNC or by an ISO code file generated by the CAD-CAM software GraniCAD supplied with the machine. This software allows to design the pieces to be profiled, to transfer the *.dxf files to the CNC, to define the parameters of cutting in each step of the cut (speed of cutting, speed of the wire, etc.) and to simulate the path of the wire during the cut.
· Once the profiling file has been input in the machine board, the operator will have the possibility of modifying parameters such as cutting speed, wire speed with a full system of security on possible water shortage, wire broken, wire short or any kind of failure the machine may have
· The machine has an electric system for bringing closer the small guide wheels that allows the operator to adjust the cutting width until the one desired, reducing the arch value when cutting with diamond wire and thereby increasing its speed.
· The structure of the pillars and beam is made of electrowelded and machined tubes. The trolley is composed of electrowelded tubes forming a framework protecting all sensitive parts of the trolley like rod screws, wheels, etc.
· The tensioning of the wire is made pneumatic and automatically with indication of wire breakage or shortage. In this way the machine controls automatically the down movement of the machine, adapting it to the optimum working tension of the wire, avoiding possible breakages and optimizing its behaviour.
· All the main pulleys –drive and tensioning– and guiding wheels are protected by rubber liners in order to get the necessary traction of the wire. Such liners can be easily changed once they are worn out.

Its rigid structure, strong construction and well-dimensioned beam limit the vibrations and assure the optimal use of diamond blades. The result is a more precise cut and a longer tool life.
RAPID AND PRECISE
The movement of both the spindle-holding carriage and the beam are in an oil bath, always precise, rapid and well protected. Once the beam has reached the correct position, it is blocked laterally on the bridges by means of a double oil-pressure device.
The two bridges move on sliding blocks with play adjustment along the guides, which are housed inside the columns, well protected by labyrinth seals. The spindle-holding carriage is moved horizontally by an electric motor controlled by an inverter.
The 550 mm ø horizontal blade spindle is mounted vertically on one side of the carriage and it can be adjusted in height by a rack and pinion assembly powered by a reducer with invertercontrolled A/C motor. The unit is equipped with a mechanism for the automatic compass movement of the blade. The rectified and dynamically balanced spindle shaft guarantees an exceptional precise rotation.
