AUTOMATIC ELECTRONIC BLOCK-CUTTER FOR MARBLE AND GRANITE
Sawing machine able to transform marble and granite blocks into semimachined slabs having a maximum height of 1500 mm and the thickness desired.
FEATURES
Max blade size of 3500 mm (137.8 in).
Block holder trolley with electronically-controlled positioning with decimal tolerances and adjustable speed.
Movement of the blade holder slide drivens by a rack-pinion on guides in oil bath, free of maintenance with protections made of stainless steel. Separate regulation of the cut/return speed and the head limit stops from the control board.
Possibility to program a reduction of cut increment at the beginning of the cycle to facilitate the entrance of the blade in the block.
Columns, bridge and operating head made of highly resistant cast iron and protections of stainless steel for a perfect dimensional stability and a long-lasting life.
Switchboard including all the operating controls and the colour display. The POLYAX COLOR controls 3 axes of movement.
Possibility to set in multiple cuts 9 diff erent translation measures, repeatable up to 99 times. Possibility to program up to 9 different cutting heights and lenghts in order to work at the same time with blocks having different sizes.

Monowire Roller has the function of trimming blocks with diamond wire and cutting slabs of variable thickness. Programmable to cut several measures in the same block or in several blocks in a row placed in line.
Data management and memorization.

The WIRE SAW is manufactured in 3 different versions (stationary, gantry on rails and dual i.e. stationary + gantry). The machine has been conceived for block cutting and squaring off thick slabs of sandstone, marble and granite.
The strong steel frame has been designed to ensure very high rigidity levels and precision during all the cutting phases. It is composed of two steel columns linked together by a steady connecting beam and two aluminium large size flywheel (Ø2150mm) reducing the diamond wire fatigue and also helping the wire spinning around its own axis, preventing its ovalization. The two flywheels move up and down on two columns thanks to 8 linear guides, granting the absence of vibrations, and maximising stability and unmistakable precision during the cutting phases.
The driving flywheel is powered by an 18.5kW asynchronous motor and its groups are moved by a screw & nut system that is driven by a brushless motor which is controlled by a drive that adjusts the working downfeed according to the diamond wire bow.
