The NRS350 bridge saw is a machine designed to cut any type of stone, both for mass production as well as for cutting exclusive, one-off pieces.
The machine’s entire manufacturing process, from the initial design until its final on-site installation, is carried out by HERSEN, including training in the use of the machine as well as any technical assistance.
The technologically advanced fusion between mechanics and electronics is so simple and efficient that it makes the NSR a high speed, high precision saw in all its movements. In order to ensure accuracy and durability of the machine over the years, the NRS350 Bridge saw is built on a mechanised steel structure, over which are mounted the different mechanical components such as linear cranes, reducers, bearing crowns, etc. For the electronic parts of the machine, HERSEN only installs components and materials made by leading world brands in this sector.

The MEM AC-HV wire from Grani Roc is a machine designed for dressing and slabbing stone blocks. The machine is specially designed to cut horizontally but it can also cut vertically. The machine has an automatic wedging system that makes the horizontal cutting process completely automatic. To cut horizontally gives a higher productivity as well as a higher performance of the tool. Furthermore, a higher productivity is achieve due to the non existence of stop times in loading a loading operations as it happens in the conventional static machines.
·The bridge structure and pillars of the machine are built in laminated steel. All surfaces of contact between the different parts are machined for guaranteeing high precision in assembly and also in the cutting process.
· All the steel elements of the structure are subjected to a surface finishing consisting of a deep cleaning and degreasing treatment, a metallization treatment and corresponding protective layers and painting. These treatments enhance the durability of the machine against
aggressive weather and working conditions.
· The main motor is direct in the main pulley, and it is controlled by an electronic frequency variator –inverter-, that permits to apply progressive linear speed to the wire and its adjustment to optimize the behaviour and performance of the tool.
· The tensioning of the wire is made pneumatic and automatically with indication of wire breakage or shortage. In this way the machine controls automatically the down movement of the machine, adapting it to the optimum working tension of the wire, avoiding possible breakages and optimizing its behaviour.
· The machine has an automatic wedging system which introduces the wedges into the block to be cut using the number of wedges pre-programmed by the operator in the control panel.
· All the main pulleys –drive and tensioning– and guiding wheels are protected by rubber liners in order to get the necessary traction of the wire. Such liners can be easily changed once they are worn out.
· The machine is equipped with an automatic cooling system for the diamond wire with detection of constant water pressure. This system stops the machine in the case of lack or insufficient water flow, protecting the tool and preventing possible deterioration or damage of the equipment.
· All the up and down screws are protected with hoods against dust and water.
· The machines has an automatic greasing system that injects lubricating liquid in the critical parts of the machine ensuring their correct functioning and the long life of the spare parts.
· The control panel, situated in the lateral part of the machine, has all the drive and protection components and devices of all control and safety equipment of the machine. All these components are standard, allowing easy and quick maintenance and / or replacement.

By means of the NDF-1289 automatic loading car (optional), we will feed the longitudinal cutter with the material coming from a stevedore, the boards are collected by this automatic feeder, through the use of suction cups connected to a vacuum pump that lowers them until put them in a horizontal position, prepared for their advance towards the cutting unit. The boards are picked up from the horizontal stacker and positioned waiting to enter the production line in
such a way that in successive boards the alignment is maintained and it is not necessary to adjust the starting point of the cutter.

The intermediate roller table constitutes the point of union between the feeding car and the longitudinal cutter. In addition, it acts as an intermediate warehouse so that the downtime of the cutting unit is minimal.
The longitudinal cutter with 5 heads on mobile bridge N.8000-L-5C and the transverse cutter with 7 heads N.8000-T-7C, are machines equipped with the latest technological advances in terms of their mechanical and electronic design. What stands out above all are the linear guide systems of the headstock bridge supported by two beams parallel to the cutting table, the first and perpendicular to the second, with precision linear guides and high-precision, high-rigidity recirculating ball slides, on the that it displaces, to carry out the cutting tasks. The positioning of the heads is simultaneously thanks to the independent converters of each head.
The N.2304 cutting tables are built with a steel structure with a rectified upper plane, on which the motorized transport belt rests with a rubber-coated outer surface to prevent the displacement of the material during the cutting phase. A device to stop the stone, located on the table of the second crosscutter, allows to greatly reduce the times during the crosscutting process.
The table N.2590, located at the exit of the longitudinal cutter, has a system of physical stops, actuated pneumatically, that allows the selection of the strips that have been previously cut according to the width for their subsequent processing in the longitudinal cutter.
The second table N.2585 has a dragging device to join and align the strips prior to their processing in the transversal cutter, as well as the removal of longitudinal waste.
The unloading tables with band N.2426 have a frame built based on steel profiles with a transport band for unloading the cutting table, simultaneously, while the crosscutter already receives the next board and is ready to cut.
The Robot – Palletizer N-3530 (optional) with vacuum suction cup, is specially designed to perform automated palletizing tasks, based on the same operating principles applied in standard Nodosafer palletizing, and offers multiple advantages, optimization of work process , reduction of cycle times and efficient use of downtime. The reception suction cup, of particular design, is made up of a rectangular plate, capable of supporting horizontal loads of up to 120 Kgs.
Work areas are protected, limiting access to risk areas by means of protection fences and photocells, to avoid any risk of accident.
All machines and heads are equipped with an implantation system with centralized greasing for quick and easy maintenance.
In the electrical and control installation section, it is worth highlighting the implementation of state-of-the-art automatons with programs custom designed by our technical department, so that the programming of the machines is as simple as possible for the operators, avoiding thus wasting unnecessary time. The programming of the work cycle and the visualization of its sequence is carried out on two operator terminals with a screen, where all the work parameters are displayed, as well as the cutting cycles.

Our exclusive system and software in combination with the Artificial Vision System allow each table of material in our warehouse to be saved in a database, along with its photograph, for later use. In this way, in addition to the possibility of correctly managing the stock of material, a photograph is available with which to make an exploded view of a job. The warehouse table management system is made up of two modules:
The first is carried out on the platform of its own creation for the location of the material, and the support where the camera and the PC are located.
The second, the VisionCruz software, is a program developed entirely by our company, whose purpose is to capture images of material tables and their processing. Specific software for measuring templates.

The brushing and aging line is characterized by its versatility to achieve special finishes and finishes in marble, natural stone and compact surfaces. Achieving these finishes on the entire surface of the pieces, without breaking them or with a minimum of breaks is the purpose of this line. We can quickly transform materials according to the finish that is needed, raw materials, brushed, honed or aged. The planer has a system of planetary satellite dishes by means of a spindle, it synchronizes the translation movement of the bridge and the advance of the piece by the belt that allows to obtain the correct finish on the entire surface of the piece.

Robotic Palletizing
HERSEN’s palletizing robots can automatically, programmatically load, unload, manipulate and flip porcelain, marble, granite, quartz, tile boxes, cement blocks or bricks. Design and manufacture according to the specifications of each client, can be integrated into one or more production lines. It is controlled by four Cartesian axes (X, Z, Y, C) and simple and intuitive user software.
They can be equipped with suction cups or mechanical grippers depending on the application and the product to be handled.
Loading and unloading of porcelain tiles, marble, granite, quartz.
The palletizing robot equipped with a suction cup is designed to handle porcelain, marble, granite, quartz and solid surfaces. For example, they can automatically load large-format porcelain tables into horizontal drawers. Unload drawers horizontally and load tables vertically by positioning them on trestles.
Another example is the integration of the palletizing robot in cutting lines, polishing lines or resin lines for loading and unloading the tables.

– Movable trolley on rolling tracks anchored to the ground to approach the material stowage units, with wheels driven by an electric gear motor.
– The programming and the sequence of work is done by selecting from the control panel. Smooth and precise movements thanks to the installation of frequency converters in the translation movement.

· The main motors are controlled by electronic frequency variators –inverters-, that permit to apply progressive linear speed to the wire and its adjustment to optimize the behaviour and performance of the tool.
· The tensioning of the wire is made pneumatic with detection and indication of wire breakage or shortage and stop the machines in case of breakage of the wire.

This class of load arms is used in those occasions in which the load has been carried out with a central stand and bundles (or packages of boards with packaging) have not been used.
Generally, the cargo that is usually transported are boards that are less than 1.7 meters high, such as quartz or artificial materials. In this way, this arm can also load bundles as long as they are not taller than 1.7 meters.
In this model, the load is below the arm that is introduced into the container.
In general, bundles are not used, a trestle is placed in the center and loaded directly on the trestle. For example, with the 5tn model, 26 2cm boards can be loaded in each cycle. In just 4 cycles, the container is loaded. It is very fast and requires very few personnel.

One of the great advantages of this loading arm model is that it allows you to get as close as possible to the sides of the container, this makes unloading the material much easier.

The 5tn crane is one of the most widely used in marble workshops. One of the main differences between one model and another is that the standard construction weighs more empty than the light one.

As an option, it can be supplied with an independent 4-plate suction cup with battery and quick coupling to separate the suction cup from the robot. The suction cup, by remote control, can be operated to open and close and can be raised independently.

One-base Industrial Suction Pads
These are reduced-sized suction pads that have various loading capacities from 100 kg to 800 kg, suitable for smaller-sized pieces.
Their big advantage is that they facilitate and speed up the loading, unloading and handling of parts such as slabs, flooring, steps, cladding, kerbs, etc. Additionally, they can move pieces from a horizontal to a vertical position easily and securely, both manually and automatically.
This product improves the ergonomics of the marble worker, reducing muscle fatigue and strain from the effort involved in handling marble.
They can be installed on bridge-cranes, jib cranes, crane trucks and forklifts.
They can be operated using compressed air (venturi) or a vacuum pump.

CNC stoneworking center with reduced dimensions.
Based on HCT-A model, we create a new stoneworking center which is more compact. In this way we put forward a high quality and strong machine with the necessary dimensions so that it can be placed in smaller workshoops.
It has a warehouse which is provided with 15 tools and it also has a working surface of 2600x1450mm, so that it allows to produce the most common stones for sinks and cooking tops.
Thanks to the innovative programming system of Canigó, the software which controls the machine is based on icons so it is extremely easy to use. It is not needed a special computer knowledge.
