    MULTI-BLADE LONGITUDINAL SAW

    The Multibreton AC cuts the slab which travels on the conveyor belt mounted on side guides, whereas the cutting spindles rigidly locked to the beam remain in a fixed position. This cutting system ensures an almost perfect parallelism of the single cuts, a machining necessity when cutting rightangled workpieces.

    CROSS-CUTTING SAW

    The Multibreton AD cuts the slab as the spindle holding beam advances at a right-angle to the conveyor belt. The beam travels at a perfect right angle on guides enclosed in an oil bath and protected by a labyrinth seal casing. Beam motion is controlled by a variable speed motor and two ball screw assemblies coupled to ball nuts mounted to the two supporting frames of the beam.

    A shaft coupled to the angle reduction units ensures the ball screw assemblies are synchronised. A mobile aligner for squaring up the strips before cutting is installed at the front end of the machine opposite the spindle-holding beam.

    The aligner travels on roller bearings and is driven by pneumatic cylinders and two rack-pinion couplings which ensure synchronised movement. This system guarantees an almost perfect geometry of rightangled workpieces.

    The cutting units are technically and mechanically advanced and rigidly fixed to purposely designed slides which ensure accurate and precise vertical and transverse travel.

    The multi-belt conveyors which travel on the milled steel surface of the workbench have a thick rubber coating designed to be subjected to abrasions caused by the diamond disks when cutting. The diamond disks are enclosed in special noise absorbing protective casings which also ensure ideal tool ,coolant feeding.

    MULTIBRETON TRIM - AUTOMATIC TRIMMING LINE FOR NATURAL STONE SLABS

    Automatic trimming line for natural stone slabs This line is engineered to offer high-speed machining and to be incorporated into a polishing line and is designed to work at the same speed as the polishing machines. Both longitudinal and horizontal trimming operations are in a single run and ideal for slabs with a thickness up to 30 mm.

    The horizontal trimmer consists of two cutting spindles which work in succession along the same cutting run resulting in a substantial increase in cutting speed. The two trimming systems are positioned in succession to one another, first the longitudinal and then the horizontal.

    They work simultaneously guaranteeing high-speed operations which do not in any way condition or affect the speed of the polishing machine positioned downstream the line. The work cycle can be programmed and runs in automatic. The machines are fitted with a single control panel.

    LONGITUDINAL TRIMMER

    The MULTIBRETON TRIM L/2 mounts two spindles which remain in a fixed position and trim the slab as it is conveyed forwards on rollers. The spindles which travel along guides mounted to the cross-beam are positioned manually or as an optional accessory a motorised screw assembly can be fitted for spindle positioning operations. An easy to use handwheel is provided to lock and release the spindle.

    As a further optional accessory a laser tracer system can be mounted allowing the operator to verify and trace cutting operations.

    TRANSVERSAL TRIMMER

    The MULTIBRETON TRIM /T/2 consists of a carriage which mounts two cutting discs. This carriage moves perpendicularly in respect to the slab being conveyed. A system of sensors relay information to the machine which stops the slab conveyor when the slab reaches the correct cutting position. Once each cutting operation is terminated, a pneumatic system raises the discs returning them to their original position and the slab is then conveyed forwards. The disc carriage moves along guides which are enclosed in a labyrinth protective housing. The waste shavings simply fall into a collection hopper mounted on free-moving rollers positioned underneath (optional accessory) and which is manually removed for emptying. Upon specific request this collection hopper can be replaced with a motorised conveyor system to convey the waste shavings to a larger collection hopper located outside of the workplace.

    The bridge saw SMART-CUT S/NC 550 OPTIMA is the ideal CNC cutting centre for kitchen top producers: with interpolated axes, equipped with rotating head and fixed work bench, designed to perform multiple machining operations which would otherwise require several machines, such as: cutting of slabs, shaping and dishing out of small blocks, engraving of inscriptions, drilling, etc. using either the diamond disc or the drills.

    Equipped with a vacuum cup pick-and-place system, the machine handles the cut pieces thus optimizing the slab cutting and moves them in order to execute routings on their back-face(rodding) where the reinforcing rods will be cemented.

    On request, the work bench can be equipped with a tilting top; in the bridge saw S/NC 550B OPTIMA version, the bench is equipped with a motorized conveyor belt so as to automate the loading and unloading operations.

    Relationship between the slab size and overall size of the machine
    The first evident advantage is the ratio between working area and overall machine dimensions.

    Easy unload of parts from the table
    The table has three sides that are always accessible to the operator, who can then unload parts more easily and more safely.

    Increased rigidity of the machine
    The guides of the bridge are anchored to the ground and thus provide a better rigidity to the whole machine.

    Bridge resistance to twisting
    5-axis bridge saws are exposed to always-changing twist forces, because the blade cutting direction is not always parallel to the bridge.
    The shorter bridge solidly anchored, not on wheels or rollers, has greatly improved twist resistance.

    Improved Z axis rigidity
    An improved motor tilting system combined with a correctly sized blade allowed us to lower the bridge and to shorten the Z slide.
    The shorter Z frontally mounted on the bridge has increased rigidity but kept the same working height capacity.

    Lower water consumption
    The traditional cooling system expects huge quantity of water to cool 30% of the blade perimeter, or only the contact side, this cover (patent n° 3684608) keeps the blade submerged in water for 70% of the perimeter.
    Cooling trough submersion needs less water and almost totally eliminate water splashes.

    Rapid movements
    The smaller size of the machine allows it to reach a point before compared to a larger machine.

    Blade motor with vector technology
    A vector motor and an induction motor have different performance.
    With the same consumption (kW) the vector motor has twice the torque (Nm).
    Vector motor technology allows the motor to keep a constant torque up to 6000 rpm, instead with an induction motor, even if controlled by VFD, as the speed increases it loses torque, but the consumption increases.
    Using vector motor technology allowed us to increase performance, and drastically reduce consumption and the dimensions of the blade motor.

    Increased cutting depth
    The motor and flange diameter of only 160mm allows cutting 100mm thick stone with a blade of only 360mm diameter.
    With a traditional motor you would instead need a 450mm blade to cut the same thickness.

    Better cutting performance
    A small blade because it’s thinner reduces sludge left from the cutting process, also because it’s cutting less it can cut faster, and it leaves shorter overcuts. Another advantage of a small blade is that it requires less water and less power to run.

    Machine installation
    Machine’s mono-block structure allows installation in less than a full working day on a flat concrete floor, without needing to spend more to build walls or special foundations.

    OZKKM FORNAX is a 5-axis monoblock bridge saw machine that, thanks to the advanced functionality, allows every stone fabrication shop to be equipped with accurate and quick machines, without giving up quality. The high pressure water jet combined with the CNC cutting table is particularly useful for cutting stones such as marble and granite. Other materials that the waterjet cutter can cut include glass, ceramic tile and concrete bricks, etc.

The diamond blade circular saw can be used on most types of granite. The wet cut circular saw produces less dust during cutting, making it the best option for cutting granite tiles.
