Marble bench saw ITC AV/AA with toothed belt-drive transmission system. Perfect for both building sites and for small-medium marble-works. Ideal for cutting brickworks, natural stones and stone-like materials, bricks, marbles, granites and Grès porcelain stone-wares. A solid and precise wet saw, available with manual advancement of the cutting head (by means of a flywheel on the right hand side of the machine) – model “AV” – or motorized (with inverter for regulating the speed of advancement) – model “AA”. Adjustment of the depth of the cut is with a flywheel set above the motor unit. They are designed to work with blades of Ø300 Ø350 Ø400 and Ø450 mm. Available in single-phase or three-phase version.
Sawing-machine equipped with a cooling system for the cutting disc: a pump for the circulation of water, positioned within the collection tank, allows water to flow onto the disc for cooling. The tank, in sheet metal, is completely welded to structural reinforcements that guarantee maximum resistance to torsion/bending. The tank is emptied by opening the draining cap.

Can I cut stone with a table saw?

You can use a table saw to cut stone if the saw has a diamond blade that is kept continually wet while cutting. A regular table saw blade will not create a smooth cut. The blade will chip the stone and will also produce a large amount of dangerous silica dust. A table saw is great for everyday projects.

Wet your stone in a bowl or bucket of water to prevent an initial dry cut. Place the stone on the opposite end of the tile saw from yourself. Pull the stone gently towards you, using the saw blade to cut down your marked line. Allow the saw blade to cut the rock, rather than putting a lot of pressure on it.
