BROADWAY SHERPA 600 2C SEMI- AUTOMATIC STONE SPLITTING LINE
Steinex semi-automatic Splitting line designed for natural stone with a sawn surface for splitting products of small to medium dimensions. This line is equipped with 2 splitting cylinders, lower and upper, to maximize the quality of the split.
The blade length is 600 mm with a maximum split height of 320 mm and the machine is supplied with a high performance, low maintenance hydraulic unit and once again Steinex continues offering incredible efficiency, with the line using approximately a maximum of 5kW of power.

The Broadway 600 splitting machine is the smallest Broadway model, designed to be portable and as a general-purpose machine for the production of most split products from regular or sawn stone and concrete. Machine description
Large stone stone splitters can process stones up to 2.3 m (~ 7.5 ft) wide and 1.2 m (~ 4 ft) high, the standard splitting power is up to 850 metric tons (936 short tons). Highly durable conveyors capable of moving heavy blocks and other additional equipment ensure smooth running of the line. Unique rotary manipulators allow easy rotation, twisting, shifting and sorting of finished products. Easy handling of large stone blocks contributes to greater performance.

So that every machine is always fully utilised, with the right size blanks ready. We offer easy waste disposal and space for containers for finished products.
Robust construction
The machine is designed to stand up to harsh environments. We choose an extra robust construction for all stressed components. In the case of the splitter, these are of course the frame, the splitting tools, the teeth and the entire manipulators; the conveyors have extra thick chains, strong links and a robust frame. The conveyors are also controlled by frequency converters, which guarantees their smooth start-up, but also their protection against overloading.
Easy handling of large blocks
Thanks to the MO 2 manipulators with proportional valves for sensitive control, which have 3 parts and 4 joints (excellent kinematics), you can easily turn and tilt the stone in all directions in combination with the double-belt conveyor.
Precise splitting
The design of the floating frame ensures that the stone is always split between the tools with an even force from both sides. The upper tool allows a tilt of up to 12°, which together with the adjusting (self-levelling) teeth contributes to a higher quality of the splitting surface even for irregular blocks of stone.
Easy to operate
Machines with conveyors, where higher precision of the final products is expected, the operator is on the platform next to the machine at the same height as the conveyors, so that he has the best possible view of the stone being processed. The control panel is on a pivoting arm and the operator can move it in front of and behind the machine.
The stand-alone machines are operated by remote control from the wheel loader cab.
Automatic waste removal
When splitting large blocks, small waste falls down the machine and conveyors into a channel where it is continuously removed. This minimizes unproductive cleaning time and prevents potential damage to the machine from accumulated waste.
Customize the parameters of your splitting line
The large block splitter system (SLP) is easy to configure. It is possible to add individual elements such as different types of conveyors, manipulators, automatic waste removal, etc. At the same time, it is possible to customize the size and thickness of the machine. We offer several standard frame widths, the height and thickness of the splitter and the line assembly can be customized to your requirements.

The Igloo stone splitter is an open frame machine model, highly productive, simple to maintain, an ideal solution for your quarries and the best choice as cubes splitting machine. Splitting machine models range from 160-640mm in blade length and 20 -180 tons of splitting pressure. All models are supplied with a highly efficient hydraulic unit using only the best performing hydraulic components. The Igloo machines are designed for splitting hard material in continuous use and are well known throughout the world for their resilience and precision processing hard stone. These machines are used to split granite, limestone, sandstone, slate, porphyry and many other types of natural stone products.
The Igloo 160, 240 and 320 models are used for the production of split paving, cubes and natural stone tiles. The Igloo 400, 480 and 640 for wall stones and large cubes, whilst the Igloo 500 and 600 for split kerbstone, large wall stones and as primary machines in a configured splitting line for the production of various split natural stone products.

Machine description
Unrivalled performance
Combining a unique manipulator, an optimally long conveyor and a splitter equipped with a special hydraulic system, you can achieve unrivalled production performance and a significant reduction in operating costs. The splitters are designed to process regular or irregular stone as efficiently as possible. They can process up to 50 - 60 tons per shift. A special hydraulic system with cooling unit, used exclusively by Gestra, gives the splitters high performance and the ability to split even the hardest stones.
Easy handling of processed stones
The unrivalled features of the MK manipulator ensure easier handling of the stone blocks. It can be used to move long stones and place them precisely under the splitting head, and once a piece of stone has been split off, it can be turned and tilted in all directions.
Precise splitting of even long blocks
A conveyor with special chains is attached to the splitting table of the splitter, which descends with the table when splitting. This design allows the splitting of long stones without the risk of damaging the table or the conveyor, the splitting takes place only between the teeth and thus increases the quality of the split surface. The stone does not "wobble" on the table during splitting. The robust construction of the conveyor guarantees a long service life. The floating knives that adapt to the shape of the stone also help to increase the quality of the split surface.
Splitting tool
Both the upper and lower tool is leveling, which results in better quality of split products. We use strong teeth in the tools, which have a long service life.
Simple and safe operation
The machine has a control panel with joysticks that control the manipulator and conveyors. The manipulator not only increases the productivity of the machine, but eliminates the physically very demanding work of precisely placing the stone under the splitting head and greatly increases the safety when working on the machine.
Tool reverse control
The reverse time of the upper tool can be adjusted so that it does not travel unnecessarily to the end position when splitting smaller products and thus slow down production unnecessarily.
Reliability and long service life
The splitter and conveyors are extra robust to minimize repair time and unproductive machine maintenance. The conveyors have heavy chains and thick links with reinforcement. The splitter head has a solid construction of all components to withstand long term splitting loads of up to 180 t.
Quality components are also used in the hydraulic power pack where it is not visible at first glance, but it has a major impact on the performance, reliability and life of the machine. The heart of the machine is the radial cast iron pump, which ensures a gradual increase in pressure and a smooth build-up of pressure in the stone, which increases the quality of the splitting.
Cooling unit and heating coil
The hydraulic unit can be fitted with a cooling unit that keeps the hydraulic oil at the ideal temperature to maintain maximum machine performance and extend the life of the hydraulic components.
The heating coil tempers the oil at night temperatures below 10°C so that you can start working quickly at the start of your shift.
