Machinery in the Menhir range is mainly used as a primary machine in a splitting line producing semi-finished split stone or as a machine producing final products such as large kerb stones and large wall stones.
Menhir machines are used to split granite, limestone, sandstone, slate, porphyry and many other types of natural stone. These resilient machines are used to split both raw material and sawn slabs. The non-sawn stone includes stone quarried in blocks or very irregular natural stone quarried using explosives. The Menhir machines are equipped with high levels of adaption in the blade system and designed with a pivoting blade head to make splitting such irregular material efficient, giving a high quality split surface finish and leaving minimal waste. Each machine is equipped with a highly efficient low noise hydraulic and power unit. The hydraulic unit comes with a several pump configuration options, including the possibility to adjust the speed at which the machine blade begins to apply pressure to the stone and the desired eventual” ramp” or split pressure plan the follows. Being able to set these splitting parameters on the Menhir splitting machine allows our customers to optimize the quality of the split face according to the properties of their stone.

Machinery Function Features:
The Sn-Sm produces split-face tiles made of marble, stone or granite. It can be used to process all the waste generated by other machines.
A hydraulic piston controls the moving horizontal blade that splits the stone. It is monitored thought an electric panel that sends signals to the solenoid valves.
