MULTIWIRE JUPITER GS220 is an open frame multiwire machine for the production of granite and marble slabs that performs blocks fast cutting through a set of diamond wires. It is available in several versions which differ for the maximum number of wires and for the diamond wire diameter (7,3 mm – 6,3 mm – 5,3 mm).

The WIRE SAW is manufactured in 3 different versions (stationary, gantry on rails and dual i.e. stationary + gantry). The machine has been conceived for block cutting and squaring off thick slabs of sandstone, marble and granite.

The single line cutting system is a machine designed to cut rectangular blocks or granite slabs into large slab thicknesses. The device consists of a supporting structure with two flywheels, 2500 mm in diameter, which move the diamond wire for cutting. The speed of the wheels, and therefore of the rope, is variable and controlled by an inverter. The downward movement of the rope takes place by means of two roller carriages that move along a square column. This type of system allows high stiffness and, at the same time, very good smoothness. The rope tension is hydraulically regulated at constant pressure. The device can be equipped with fixed or rotating trolleys. They are always driven by a geared motor, controlled by an inverter and an encoder for precise positioning of the trolley.

The MEB 2000 wire saw from Grani Roc is a machine designed for dressing and slabbing stone blocks. The machine is built with the classic setup of static structure and rotating trolley to position and to move the block.
· The bridge structure and pillars of the machine are built in laminated steel. All surfaces of contact between the different parts are machined for guaranteeing high precision in assembly and also in the cutting process.
· All the steel elements of the structure are subjected to a surface finishing consisting of a deep cleaning and degreasing treatment, a metallization treatment and corresponding protective layers and painting. The disc holder trolley and the spindle housing are built in one solid, completely machined, welded steel frame.

The machine has pendulum cutting system that the discs can not impact to the block directly. When they start to cut the discs perform the cutting inside the stone. The discs cooling water feed is controlled by a safety sensor, which causes the machine to stop in case of water pressure drop. The working parameters and the diagnostics are visualized on the display.

Gang Saw Machine with 80 Blades

The multi wire saw machine abandoned the traditional linear roller system and fully adopted the precision linear slide to ensure the stable operation of the column linear slide during the processing. The adoption of the international new digital control technology has ensured the smooth operation of the machine. STRUCTURE AND DESIGN
The Multiple Diamond Wire Cutter N.6870/72 is a multi-wire machine designed to produce slabs and plates of variable thickness from granite and natural stone blocks.
The structure of the machine is basically made up of two robust columns made up of mechanically-welded steel structures, connected to each other by an upper crossbar. The structure of the flywheel-carrying main frame is mounted on both columns, which moves vertically supported by linear guides with
recirculating linear roller skates and driven by a pair of laminated spindles with recirculating ball nuts, synchronized and driven by two motors. -reducers with servomotors for raising/lowering the wires, located in the upper part of both columns, the entire guide assembly is perfectly protected by PVC bellows.
The entire machine is characterized by the robustness and reliability of the elements that make it up, all of it being designed to withstand the harshest working conditions, and in this aspect it is precisely where we can contribute all the experience accumulated over the years that we have been designing and manufacturing machinery for this sector.
MOTOR DRUM AND TAMBORINOS
The driving drum is made up of a single pulley with multiple grooves and connected to the main motor by means of a pulley and toothed belt transmission. The wires are positioned manually depending on the desired thickness, supported on one side of the machine on the drive drum, and in turn are tensioned from the opposite end by autonomous pulleys.
The drums, like the drive drum, are vulcanized, which increases their useful life and allows continuous work on the machine without delaying tire change downtimes. A movement in both directions of the tambourines allows the channel to be changed quickly and efficiently in the event that
a channel is excessively worn or a thread has not worked effectively. This method contrasts significantly with the change of tires that exists in other types of equipment since it significantly reduces the maintenance of the machine and allows work to be resumed in a considerably shorter period of time.
TENSIONING SYSTEM
The STA is a combination of tensioning systems patented by NODOSAFER that allows the useful life of the threads to be increased, also increasing profitability and guaranteeing optimum surface finishes.
The tensioning is characterized by the individual control of the deflection of each one of the threads, allowing the machine to automatically detect the arc described at all times and tend to equalize the horizontality of all the threads, so that the times block cutting completion times decrease and the consumption of the machine is uniform and balanced. This system also increases the useful life of each thread since, as significant arcs are not formed, all the threads work in a similar way without supporting excessive tensions.
The diamond wires are also guided by two small multi-channel drums that help to significantly reduce the deflection produced by them.
The Cutter N.6870/72 allows to cut a maximum of 2000 mm wide at 21 mm thick, allowing to obtain 71 sheets.
SYSTEM OF PULLEYS, TENSION PULLEYS AND FREE PULLEYS
Innovative pulley system, with pivoting extraction system, which considerably reduces maintenance times. The pulley change is carried out quickly and efficiently without having to disassemble the entire assembly, thanks to their design since with a small maneuver the desired set of pulleys is disassembled in record time.

of the tensioning pulleys, independently ensuring that each one of the threads has the same tension
regardless of the minimum differences in length that exist between each one . one of the threads that are installed on the machine.

In the electrical and control installation section, it is worth highlighting the installation of state-of-the-art automatons with programs custom designed by our technicians, so that the programming of the machine is as simple as possible, thus avoiding losses of unnecessary time. The programming of the work cycle and the visualization of its sequence is carried out on an operator terminal with a screen, where all the parameters of the cutting cycle are displayed.
A very intuitive and visual display and a radio control complete the maneuverability of the machine as well as the comfort for the operator to carry out his work safely and precisely.

The design of the N6870/72 allows, for everything described above, that the operation of the machine by the customer is very simple and intuitive. It is suitable for program profiling, roughing of blocks and to create complex shapes, such as; cylindrical columns and conical shells for covering the columns, templates for furniture, stairs and frames.
OPERATION
Erotag allows the user to freely assign the machining cycles and the order of items to be processed.

The 2 or 4 synchronized axes is useful for cylindrical or constant conical machining while the 4 or more independent axes contouring allows variable conical machining in which profiles on the two planes of interpolation (typically XY and UV) have different shapes.
Possible options, such as slowing down, can be assigned automatically or manually as well as linear unloading, circular unloading, pausing on edge work, work regimes and synchronization points. The start and stop points on the profile are independent on the two planes of interpolation.
Erotag is part of the CAD Logotag that allows users to generate the machining profiles in the simplest and quickest way, without using third-party drawing programs.

This machine distinguished essentially by many innovative design and technological solutions realized through high level experience and knowledge of the problems met in the use of granite gang saws and well known by the Designer and Mordenti, has solved the sawing requirements allowing very high hourly feeds (almost triple) on class 4 granites using normal blades and metallic grit. It is thus a realization which represents a cooperation between the experience of the technicians of this field and Mordenti, a Company distinguished by the high construction reliability, which has allowed to increase considerably the hourly output of the granite gang saws, to assure machine functionality in the long run, equip it with automatic lubrication, operation and control systems together with suitable structures of the various components which guarantee limited investement and maintenance costs in relation to the production achievable.
The important innovation and technological heart of the machine is the interesting patented mechanical application which allows the blade frame to be lifted and fed several times with the normal abrasive mixture during its wide rectilinear cutting phase and give contemporaneusly a percussion action in the descent phase.
The combination of the lifting stroke and force action is adjustable in intensity and frequency depending on the material that is being sawn and the hourly feeds required. Furthermore, at the ends of the stroke, the blade frame rises much more than the other present gangsaws and this increases the feed of the abrasive mixture, all flexible and integrated to the results one wants to achieve.
The combination and use of these three factors has brought a considerable advantage to granite sawing without being particularly burdensome but as a matter of fact allowing to increase remarkably the hourly feed and the sawing time of the block by bringing a considerable technological development to this field in connection with the modern production systems and absolute cutting precision also for 11 mm. thick slabs.
The movement of the blade frame is clearly different from those presently on the market as with the patented system the stroke of rectilinear movement is adjustable and there is wide lifting in the reversal points. This allows greater contact between blades and block and a considerable supply of the abrasive mixture due to adjustable amplitude of the rectilinear stroke and rise of the blade frame.
The patented device which eliminates the oscillating arms, silentblock and other infrastructures relative to the traditional gang saws is made up of a sector with variable radius of curvature with counter part on tempered flat guide with relative gears for the phasing of the blade frame movement. All is held in proper boxes in oil bath arranged at the ends of the frame members together with other particulars that with very rational and simple solution assure rectilinear movements of the blades and high removing capacity in time. Our SCH80 Gang Saw machine is created for rapid cutting of natural stone blocks with cast iron flywheel & double connecting rods which has a linear movement to minimize vibration.
Our machine is wagon uplift type. The blades frame is at a fixed height and the block transport trolley is raised towards the diamond blades by synchronized screw shaft system. Our Multi Blade Gang Saw Machine which works in the logic of mass production, provides energy efficiency thanks to excellent harmony between counterweighted cranks & connecting rods, moving diamond blade holder & tension tie rods.
It is designed as 2 pieces of cutting wagons + 1 piece of transfer wagon line + 2 pieces of waiting station.
The movement of the cutting wagon is provided by a trapezoidal screw with a diameter of 90 mm and a pitch of 12 mm, and the installed system has a block lifting capacity of 40 tons.
The block raising station is locked with zigzag wedges strongly. The station moves on two rigid chrome plated prismatic and two flat slides connected to 4 columns, preventing any deviation in the vertical axis.
80 flat diamond blades are connected to the hydraulic tensioning system that provides equal tension to each blade with tension tie rods.
There is an automatic brake stop, audible and light alarm system, if the oil is finished, the main bearings break down, the plate is broken, the flywheel speed decreased or any problem occurs.

The up and down movement of the cutting wagon is on the square of friction resistant precision guides (bronze slides) without vibration.

The closed frame gang saw can cut marble slabs of various thickness. The closed frame gang saw is realized to install from 80 up to 100 diamond blades. The closed structure means that the blade holder frame is not moving up and down, the vertical movement of the block is given by n.4 worm screws connected to the block trolley.

The rectilinear movement is given on 4 articulated rectilinear guides attached to the closed frame structure. These rectilinear articulated guides vastly reduce maintenance costs because they do not require replacement like the traditional slide ways which are subject to a continuous wearing. The best solution for higher speed , more accuracy and precision is one where the connecting rods move together with the blades horizontally along a single axis only. This means there is no dispersion of mechanical thrust in other directions. The block is stable when fixed on the upward moving platform. The platform runs on 2 plane and 2 prismatic vertical slide ways. These plane and prismatic slide ways prevent any deviation or tilting away from the vertical axis. The trolleys are entering laterally and frontally. The 80 and 100 models have a linear stroke of the blade of 800 mm or 1000, the longer stroke guarantee a bigger production

The squaring system consists of two single-wire machines EASYWIRE placed parallel to each other, one of which is fixed while the other moves on rails with motorized traverse.



The movement of the mobile single-wire machine is by two inverter controlled asynchronous motors, which transmit the motion (through reduction gears) to pinions meshing racks that are fixed to the rails.

The 70 rope cutting system is a machine designed to cut granite blocks into various thicknesses of plates. The machine consists of four columns on which four carriages move
in the hydraulic system. Additionally, the structure has integrated hydraulic locks that enable the installation of lines. The drive drum is 2200 mm in diameter while on the other hand two drums are 880 in diameter and a group of hydraulic cable tensions. The machine is complete with an automatic locking system for the cut plates. The machine is equipped with a modern, hydraulic rope lowering / lifting system. The hydraulic system consists of four electronically controlled cylinders. The shifts can be with the same speed or with different - independent.
