These resilient machines are used to split both raw material and sawn slabs. The non-sawn stone includes stone quarried in blocks or very irregular natural stone quarried using explosives. The Menhir machines are equipped with high levels of adaption in the blade system and designed with a pivoting blade head to make splitting such irregular material efficient, giving a high quality split surface finish and leaving minimal waste. Each machine is equipped with a highly efficient low noise hydraulic and power unit. The hydraulic unit comes with a several pump configuration options, including the possibility to adjust the speed at which the machine blade begins to apply pressure to the stone and the desired eventual” ramp” or split pressure plan the follows.
