    Cast iron bridge machine with tilting head for sawing marble and granite dimensioned elements, equipped with automatic PLC controlled cycle programming.
    All M920GR motion motors are inverter controlled and equipped with encoder. The work parameters are programmed from the control panel and visualized on touch-screen display.
    The turning table is motorized and, on demand, it can be tilting.
    Pedrini bridge saw M920 cuts slabs and semi-finished products of marble, granite and other natural stones by means of a diamond disc.
    M920 is highly competitive and efficient, its sturdy structure and user friendliness ensure perfection and linearity of the vertical and bevel cutting performance.
    Each model can be fitted with several optional accessories which allow to tailor the machine according to each customer’s needs.
    The machine is programmable through a big size touchscreen colour monitor. The rotating bench is available in different models.
    M920 structure is mainly composed of a bridge and a mobile disc-holder trolley. Two bridge cross beams are fixed to concrete walls. The bridge has been manufactured in large thickness honeycomb structure and machined on all the reference surfaces by one sole positioning on tool machine.
    All parts have undergone structural checks following the FEM (Finite Element Method) and their precision ensures perfect machine geometry and correct assembly on site. The machine surface is protected with two layers of paint applied after the sandblasting operation.
    The exclusive “V” shaped double guides which linearly and constantly drive the disc-holder trolley along the bridge are machined onto the upper part of the bridge. The two sliding side cross beams are equipped with adjustment and foundations fixing systems. The disc-holder trolley houses the disc up and down movement and, upon request, the tilting movement to 45° or 90°.
    X AXIS: CUTTING AND RETURN STROKES
    The disc-holder trolley moves along the bridge through a combined gear motor/pinion/rack system powered by inverter and controlled by encoder which displays the position along the stroke. Protection carters efficiently cover the oil bath guides.
    Y AXIS: LEFT AND RIGHT MOVEMENT
    The transversal bridge movement is driven by a Cycle Drive gear motor controlled by inverter and encoder which shows the data on the display. The two side pinions are connected by a single shaft which ensures the positioning uniformity. The oil bath tracks are protected from water and dust.
    Z AXIS: UP AND DOWN MOVEMENT
    The up and down movement is fixed on the disc-holder trolley structure and slides along two prismatic guides driven by a gear motor/precision screw system and it is powered by an inverter and controlled by an encoder which shows the data on the display.
    A AXIS: DISC TILTING MOVEMENT
    When available, the disc tilting movement inclines the whole up and down axis up to 45° allowing the tilting cuts, also step cutting, and is driven by a self-braking gear motor with inverter and encoder.

    This aesthetically beautiful and avant-garde machine has been engineered for the construction of building elements and the manufacturing of furniture and Tombstone art elements.
    The numeric control is handled by an industrial PC. The automatic cycles are easily programmed by touch screen from a colour monitor.
    The tool-holder head can perform step cutting even in 0°/90° tilted positions. Perfect movements control allow for processing by spatula.
    Owing to the adjustment system on all guides, the M940CN maintains the original precision unaltered in time.
    The cast iron asymmetrical structure allows for easy supervision of the machine work field from the ground and from a safe outer position.
    The peculiar triangular closed section and the internal ribbing provide the bridge with greater resistance when compared to traditional bridges of equal weight and length with “U” type open section.

    Machinery Function Features:

    Single diamond disc machines for the cross cutting of marble or granite strips with predetermined length and for the production of dimensioned elements. The cutting cycle is semi-automatic and it requires the presence of the operator.
    The machines can be equipped with several optional to raise the cutting thickness by means of diamond discs with up to 650 mm diameter and to increase the automation level.
    These single disc machines for the production of dimensioned elements in marble, granite and natural stones perform strips cross cutting in a way perfectly orthogonal to strips reference side.
    Head inverter controlled travelling speed is reduced during the final cutting phase through a sensor system that allows as well for stroke length adjustment. At the end of the cutting stroke, the strip manual positioning zone is left totally free to facilitate operator duty, whilst base sloped configuration conveys water through one sole channel located on machine rear. One control, formed by two buttons that are actuated and held actuated with both hands during the complete cutting cycle, provides the operator totally safe machine use.
    The machine structure is made in large thickness normalized steel work.
    As a guarantee of assembly perfect geometry, head support fixing plane, orthogonal reference plate fixing plane and entry/exit sides roll shafts mounting bores, have been machined onto monobloc base through one sole positioning on tool machine.
    Cuts orthogonally reference plate is built in large thickness hardened steel and is easy replaced. All components have undergone structural inspection through the FEM (Finite Elements Method) and their precision ensures perfect machine geometry.
    Machines complete surface is protected by two paint layers applied after sandblasting.
    Disc-holder head is assembled onto a group that comprises two large diameter chrome plated and ground parallel rods, that have been stiffened at both ends through strong structures.
    The rods slide into two long precise bushings fixed inside the robust support that is assembled onto machine base and is equipped with a simple and precise device for orthogonal adjustment.
    A consistently oil lubricated gear-motor and a pinion-rack system drive the cutting stroke whilst a separate pump provides oil lubrication to bushings/rods contact areas.
    On board electric panel comprises machine actuating controls and is dust and water proof in accordance to IP 54 (EN 60529) standards.

    The products, such as waxes or protecting liquids, are dosed and directly applied on the material surface, uniformly distributed by means of a series of rotating brushes.
    The waxing machine is normally included in a continuous cycle automatic line placed after the material polishing and drying.
    The waxing machine M242 is manufactured in the following configurations:
    • With 4 or 6 spindles to process slabs up to 2200 mm width;

    The waxing machine M242 is composed of a sturdy bridge structure which supports the mobile beam housing the spindles which drive the rotating brushes.
    The bridge structure allows to install the machine on a motorized roller bench, already existing or to be separately supplied as well.
    All parts have undergone structural checks following the FEM (Finite Element Method) and their precision ensures perfect machine geometry and correct assembly on site.
    The machine surface is protected with a three-layer paint cycle applied after the sandblasting operation.
    A suitable fiberglass door, which can be opened upwards,allows the machine access for maintenance and, at the same time, it acts as a locking and safety system to prevent accidental opening.
    The beam translation movement is driven by two pinion/rack synchronized systems with inverter-controlled speed and is automatically adjusted according to the slabs width.
    The spindles, with automatic up and down movement and pneumatic driving, are equipped with interchangeable rotating brushes and mounted onto the mobile beam.
    The product distribution on the surface is performed through a pump fixed on the machine structure which, by means of a proper pipe, directly draws from the product container.
    The general electric panel is mounted on the rear machine structure and is protected against dust and water in compliance with IP 54 standard (EN 60529).
    The main control panel is placed on the front of the machine and includes a touch-screen PLC for the automatism management.
    Each single spindle is equipped with an auxiliary control panel with exclusion switch and working pneumatic pression adjustment.

    CALIBRATION UNITS

    POLISHING UNITS

    Each spindle is fitted with a pressure gauge to control pressure and counter-pressure to balance the head during the work.

    Machinery Function Features:

    KSD 1 is a multifunction machine ideal to automate the process for the performance of pre-set systems for fixing of slabs, claddings and panels in marble, stone and ceramic for interior and exterior applications.
    The 2 independent bridges system, each one equipped with 1 ISO 40 electro-spindle, allows to carry-out processing operation in parallel way so reducing production times. CNC technology and software grant sequential programming of different types of processing, so avoiding handling or manual works or processing by the use of machines.
    The great flexibility is guaranteed by the conveyor belts: it widen and shrink automatically according on the width of the piece to be processed.
    Maximum slab thickness 100 mm, minimum slab dimensions 210x210 mm and maximum slab dimensions 1500x2000 mm (width x length).
    Slab processing can be carried-out in different ways:
    Laterally to the slab: to perform holes, milling and built-in processes;
    Above to the slab: to perform holes, reliefs, millings, rims.
