It is equipped with specific functions for the marble and mechanical industries and allows the user to get all the info necessary to the Taglio CAM systems to interact with the CNC machines quickly and easily.
2D DRAWING
he user has access to all the features of 2D design and can import files in to the most common formats (DXF, DWG, AI, EPS).
Logotag is able to convert all kinds of entities and composition of the drawings (blocks, lists, spline, polyline) whatever the level of complexity is.
The drawings typically contain imperfections such as overlapping lines, discontinuities and small entities that can be easily deleted by automatic strategies and make-up.
The make-up also allows the user to group segments in to individual entities and convert segments in to arcs within user-defined tolerances.
Macro and fixed shapes are available to simplify the drawing. The standard library includes over 50 parametric figures and can be easily extended by the users through a special scripting language.
The hatching library includes all common materials, but it can be customized with new user-definable patterns and it can be used as a tool to submit additional information to the CAM application or directly to the post processor (e.g. images rastering).
RENDERING
Logotag recognizes image files in most common formats (JPG, BMP, TIF, PNG, GIF) and allows you to insert the bitmap in to the working document, managing the position and dimensions to facilitate the design of complex geometries and tracings.
You can also import Windows true type fonts (TTF) to create individual writing or more complex texts
PROCESS

The main characteristics are the small overall dimensions, easy use and maintenance, for example the abrasive changing thanks to the large tool access area at the rear of the machine.
The feed belt is guided on precision machined steel plates which are 12 mm. thick. All the protective guards are made of stainless steel.
The machine is equipped with an in/out and up/down adjustable calibrator which has a 5,5 HP motor. The standard version has 5 frontal polishing heads and 2 chamfer units. (4 in the FLOTTER 540). All polishing heads and chamfer units have independent regulation of the air pressure. It is also fitted with a 5,5Hp universal saw for upper, lower and inclined cutting. The FLOTTER 520 is equipped with an easy use computer which controls all the spindles in all manufacturing operations like partial polishing, the on/off regulation of the polishing heads, the worked hours, the automatic polishing of irregular shape like winding staircase and many other possibilities.
FLOTTER 520 has a standard support bar with manual adjustment up to max 600 mm. to support the working of slabs with different dimensions.

Incisione is an option of the CAD Logotag and it has been developed to create text and decoration on sheets, edges or contoured surfaces.
Logotag recognizes the fonts available on Windows (TTF). Users can automatically import all the desired fonts, character by character, either uppercase or lowercase and italic, assigning to the software the conversion of arcs and lines to be interpreted as coordinates of movement for the CNC.
FONT IMPORT
There are three types of imports: 2D font (F2D), 3D font (F3D) and centerline.
F2D converts only the edges of the font, allowing it to make incisions along the external profile of the letters. Alternatively, you can export created and hollow text by using Frestag, closing profiles with the processing of spiral pocketing (termine tecnico).
F3D generates the toolpath to be followed with the tapered drill. The user can change the engraving parameters according to the available tool. The software automatically changes the Z in accordance with the geometrical properties of the character to engrave and backs them up as a “draft” automatically at the edges.
Centerline is a variant of F3D: it was set up because of some particular needs of the customers who wanted to export only the center line of each character, dividing it into two parts as if you had traced a middle line. Using the centerline you get an engraving with fixed Z, with an even depth along the entire profile. The width of the engraving profile is determined automatically according to the tool diameter, the taper of the tool and Z set.
You can eventually import special characters provided by the various manufacturers of letters (Pilla, Biondan, Caggiati, etc.). Typically, these fonts have a fixed height and the holes to drill.
TEXT AND PROFILES MANAGEMENT
The text tool allows the user to create an engraved sentence simply and quickly, controlling spacing and justification.
The engraving function works also on all the closed profiles created with Logotag to get frames and decorations or to reproduce images, provided that the source file meets the same essential specifications.
