CUTTING LINES N2990/2200 5 + 7 HEADS TECHNICAL SHEET
Our cutting line N.2990/2200-5+7C has been designed aiming maximum production capacity with minimum labour force, as well as the absolute reliability of all its parts.
The production line overall dimensions have been adjusted to the customer needs, following his criteria about the produced pieces dimensions and the final products obtained.
The whole line features better robustness and reliability in all its subassemblies, being them all designed to support the hardest working conditions. This is one of the most relevant aspects where we can offer our long time experience in designing and manufacturing stone processing machines for this sector.
One of the great advantages of the machines integrating this production line is that all the designs are already tested solutions. They only differ from our standard machines in their overall dimensions, but not in all incorporated components.
With the automatic loading trolley NDF-1289-P/V (optional), the longitudinal cutter is fed with material from a stacker. Panels are removed using suction cups connected to a vacuum pump that tilt and place them in a horizontal position, ready to move to the cutting unit. Panels from the horizontal stacker are placed waiting to enter in the production line in such a way that the following panels maintain the alignment being unnecessary to adjust the cutter starting point.
The intermediate rollers table not only joins the feeding trolley and the longitudinal cutter but also acts as an intermediate storage so that the cutting unit stop times are very low.
The 5 heads longitudinal cutter N.8000-L-5C over rolling bridge and the 7 heads transverse cutter N.8000-T-7C are equipped with the latest technology, both in their mechanical design and in their electronics. It is worth mentioning the use of a high precision and stiffness linear guide system with linear recirculating ball bearing unit by the gripper cutting head bridge during the cutting works. The bridge is supported by two beams, being parallel to the cutting table the first and perpendicular, the second.
The sliding disc holder cutting heads also move vertically guided by a linear recirculating ball bearing unit and operated by a laminated ball screw with recirculating ball screw nut in order to achieve a quick and precise positioning and being all perfectly protected by PVC bellows. The gripper cutting heads have translation movement thanks to a gear motor controlled by a frequency inverter and positioning magnetic scale in the X axis and cutting head operated by a ball screw and an electric gear motor for vertical positioning in the Z axis. The cutting heads positioning is simultaneous thanks to their independent inverters.
The N.2304 cutting tables consist of a steel structure with a machined top plane where the motorized transport band lies. The band is rubber covered to avoid slab slipping during the cutting process. A stone blocking device, placed in the second transverse cutter table, allows reducing times during the transverse cut process considerably.
The table N. 2590, placed just after the longitudinal cutter, counts with a stop system, pneumatically driven, that allows the selection of the previously cut stone strips according to the width for their further processing in the longitudinal cutter.
The second table N.2585 counts with a towing device to join and align the strips before their processing in the transverse cutter, and to remove waste from the longitudinal cut.
The unloading table with band N. 2426 count with a steel profiles frame with a transport band to unload the cutting table while the transverse cutter receives and starts cutting the next panel.
The palletising robot N-3530 (optional) with vacuum suction cup is specially design to do automatic palletising tasks on the basis of the same operation principles applied in the Nodosafer standard palletising. It also offers many advantages such as work process optimisation, shorter cycle times and efficient use of the down times. The reception suction cup, with a special design, counts with a rectangular plate, able to support horizontal loads of up to 120 kilograms.
All dangerous working areas are isolated from personnel access by means of protection fences and optical barriers.
All machines and cutting heads count with a centralized greasing system for an easy and quick maintenance.
As for electricity and control, it is worth mentioning the use of last generation automatons with programs specifically designed by our technicians, so that the machine programming is as easy as possible, avoiding unnecessary loss of time. The operation cycle programming and the visualization of this sequence is made over two screen operator terminals where all the cutting parameters are displayed.

The workbench is equipped with a pneumatic clamping system that locks the material against the feed guide when cutting the diamond blade.
The head carrier bridge moves from 0º to + 45º from the vertical position. The rotation movement is mechanical and controlled from the display.

The MEB 2000 wire saw from Grani Roc is a machine designed for dressing and slabbing stone blocks. The machine is built with the classic setup of static structure and rotating trolley to position and to move the block.
· The bridge structure and pillars of the machine are built in laminated steel. All surfaces of contact between the different parts are machined for guaranteeing high precision in assembly and also in the cutting process.
· All the steel elements of the structure are subjected to a surface finishing consisting of a deep cleaning and degreasing treatment, a metallization treatment and corresponding protective layers and painting. These treatments enhance the durability of the machine
against aggressive weather and working conditions.
· The main motor is direct in the main pulley, and it is controlled by an electronic frequency variator –inverter-, that permits to apply progressive linear speed to the wire and its adjustment to optimize the behaviour and performance of the tool.
· The tensioning of the wire is made pneumatic and automatically with indication of wire breakage or shortage. In this way the machine controls automatically the down movement of the machine, adapting it to the optimum working tension of the wire, avoiding possible breakages
and optimizing its behaviour.
· All the main pulleys –drive and tensioning– and guiding wheels are protected by rubber liners in order to get the necessary traction of the wire. Such liners can be easily changed once they are worn out.
· The machine is equipped with an automatic cooling system for the diamond wire with detection of constant water pressure. This system stops the machine in the case of lack or insufficient water flow, protecting the tool and preventing possible deterioration or damage of the equipment.
· All the up and down screws are protected with hoods against dust and water .
· The machines has an automatic greasing system that injects lubricating liquid in the critical parts of the machine ensuring their correct functioning and the long life of the spare parts.
· The control panel is situated in the lateral part of the machine and moves with it. It has all the drive and protection components and devices of all control and safety equipment of the machine. All these components are standard, allowing easy and quick maintenance and / or replacement.
·The machine has its own mobile compressor, necessary for the pneumatic system for tensioning the wire.
·The trolley is 2.300 x 2.300 mm and has a maximum capacity of 30 Ton. The rotation is manual 360º and can be blocked every 90º.

The MEB 2000 wire saw from Grani Roc is a machine designed for dressing and slabbing stone blocks. The machine is built with the classic setup of static structure and rotating trolley to position and to move the block.
· The bridge structure and pillars of the machine are built in laminated steel. All surfaces of contact between the different parts are machined for guaranteeing high precision in assembly and also in the cutting process.
· All the steel elements of the structure are subjected to a surface finishing consisting of a deep cleaning and degreasing treatment, a metallization treatment and corresponding protective layers and painting. These treatments enhance the durability of the machine against aggressive weather and working conditions.
· The main motor is direct in the main pulley, and it is controlled by an electronic frequency variator –inverter-, that permits to apply progressive linear speed to the wire and its adjustment to optimize the behaviour and performance of the tool.
· The tensioning of the wire is made pneumatic and automatically with indication of wire breakage or shortage. In this way the machine controls automatically the down movement of the machine, adapting it to the optimum working tension of the wire, avoiding possible breakages
and optimizing its behaviour.
· All the main pulleys –drive and tensioning– and guiding wheels are protected by rubber liners in order to get the necessary traction of the wire. Such liners can be easily changed once they are worn out.
· The machine is equipped with an automatic cooling system for the diamond wire with detection of constant water pressure. This system stops the machine in the case of lack or insufficient water flow, protecting the tool and preventing possible deterioration or damage of the equipment.
· All the up and down screws are protected with hoods against dust and water .
· The machines has an automatic greasing system that injects lubricating liquid in the critical parts of the machine ensuring their correct functioning and the long life of the spare parts.
· The control panel is situated in the lateral part of the machine and moves with it. It has all the drive and protection components and devices of all control and safety equipment of the machine. All these components are standard, allowing easy and quick maintenance and / or replacement.

This automatic slotting machine makes incisions on the back of the pieces for the placement of the fixing system. In this case, for the STRONGFIX anchoring system. It is a 45 degree double groove in the shape of a dovetail. The aluminum profiles are inserted into these grooves and fixed to the piece with putty.
HERSEN has designed a router that performs a clean and precise cut, obtaining precise and defined incisions. It can slot parts from 100mm to 1600mm wide, which allows ENTIRE BOARDS to be slotted.
The material to be grooved enters through a motorized roller bed, and a controlled mobile guide correctly aligns the material before entering the machine and the heads begin to groove.
It is built with 6 motors installed on 3 bridges. Each bridge has an independent cutting head, composed of two motors with two discs, in this way it is possible to make 3 pairs of grooves at 45º at the same time and separated from each other to any size.
It performs the grooving both continuously and discontinuously. This discontinuous grooving makes it possible to groove parts where windows, doors or corner joints go without the grooving cut being seen by the edges. What makes the façade aesthetically improve and does not weaken the pieces by making unnecessary cuts.
It is also possible to build the machine for the transverse grooving of the board.
It has been equipped with an automatic control and measurement system for the wear of the diamond blades and the depth of the grooves to always obtain the desired measurement of the grooves. Another system automatically fans the diamond blades, optimizing the number of meters of cut and always allowing a clean cut in the incisions.

Industrial vacuum load handlers allow lifting, turning and turning loads as diverse as bags, boxes, containers, drums, pallets, toilets, marble, porcelain and solid surfaces up to 265Kgs. Operation is intuitive, smooth and fast performing all the functions of grabbing the load, raising it, lowering and releasing the load from a single control, the manipulator handle.
Lifting is simple and safe, both for people and for the product. They can be installed to optimize any manufacturing and handling process, in logistics warehouses, for picking and order preparation. Its ergonomics, functionality and safety reduce effort and optimize productivity, reducing user fatigue and injuries.
How does the vacuum manipulator work?
The manipulator uses vacuum to hold and lift the load. The air is guided through a filter and an air pipe, to raise the lifting tube with which the manipulator is equipped. The vacuum within the lift tube is regulated from the manipulator’s control handle. This manipulator is where the suction unit is attached, which is the one that will be in contact with the material to be handled.
When the partial vacuum increases, the lift tube shrinks and lifts the load. When the partial vacuum is reduced, the lift tube is stretched, lowering the load. The sniffer keeps the load safely gripped until it reaches the ground. In the event of power loss or a power outage, a safety valve acts in such a way that the load descends in a smooth and controlled way to the ground.

What sipper to use?
We develop standard and special suction pumps on request, made to measure according to the type of load, weight, suction surface and the type of handling required for each product and application.
We can handle boxes with the product inside, both open and closed, with seal or staples.
Irregular boxes with fragile products inside the boxes can also be handled and lifted and stacked.

How is the vacuum generated?
The vacuum pump is what runs the entire system. The vacuum is generated by means of a high-performance, low-consumption vacuum motor-pump. This motor pump can be installed up to 30m away from the lifting point. A remote control can be installed to operate the pump without leaving the duty point.
Where to install the load handler?
They can be installed on our light profile jib cranes and overhead cranes. The overhead crane or jib crane supports the lifting equipment. We offer a wide range of lifting systems such as column cranes, jib cranes, light overhead cranes, suspension cranes, mono-rail cranes, low height cranes, Bridge cranes with frame structure. Machinery Function Features:
The MEM AC-HV wire from Grani Roc is a machine designed for dressing and slabbing stone blocks. The machine is specially designed to cut horizontally but it can also cut vertically. The machine has an automatic wedging system that makes the horizontal cutting process completely automatic. To cut horizontally gives a higher productivity as well as a higher performance of the tool. Furthermore, a higher productivity is achieve due to the non existence of stop times in loading a loading operations as it happens in the conventional static machines.
·The bridge structure and pillars of the machine are built in laminated steel. All surfaces of contact between the different parts are machined for guaranteeing high precision in assembly and also in the cutting process.
· All the steel elements of the structure are subjected to a surface finishing consisting of a deep cleaning and degreasing treatment, a metallization treatment and corresponding protective layers and painting. These treatments enhance the durability of the machine against
aggressive weather and working conditions.
· The main motor is direct in the main pulley, and it is controlled by an electronic frequency variator –inverter-, that permits to apply progressive linear speed to the wire and its adjustment to optimize the behaviour and performance of the tool.
· The tensioning of the wire is made pneumatic and automatically with indication of wire breakage or shortage. In this way the machine controls automatically the down movement of the machine, adapting it to the optimum working tension of the wire, avoiding possible breakages and optimizing its behaviour.
· The machine has an automatic wedging system which introduces the wedges into the block to be cut using the number of wedges pre-programmed by the operator in the control panel.
· All the main pulleys –drive and tensioning– and guiding wheels are protected by rubber liners in order to get the necessary traction of the wire. Such liners can be easily changed once they are worn out.
· The machine is equipped with an automatic cooling system for the diamond wire with detection of constant water pressure. This system stops the machine in the case of lack or insufficient water flow, protecting the tool and preventing possible deterioration or damage of the equipment.
· All the up and down screws are protected with hoods against dust and water.
· The machines has an automatic greasing system that injects lubricating liquid in the critical parts of the machine ensuring their correct functioning and the long life of the spare parts.
· The control panel, situated in the lateral part of the machine, has all the drive and protection components and devices of all control and safety equipment of the machine. All these components are standard, allowing easy and quick maintenance and / or replacement.
