Our SCH80 Gang Saw machine is created for rapid cutting of natural stone blocks with cast iron flywheel & double connecting rods which has a linear movement to minimize vibration.
Our machine is wagon uplift type. The blades frame is at a fixed height and the block transport trolley is raised towards the diamond blades by synchronized screw shaft system. Our Multi Blade Gang Saw Machine which works in the logic of mass production, provides energy efficiency thanks to excellent harmony between counterweighted cranks & connecting rods, moving diamond blade holder & tension tie rods.
It is designed as 2 pieces of cutting wagons + 1 piece of transfer wagon line + 2 pieces of waiting station.
The movement of the cutting wagon is provided by a trapezoidal screw with a diameter of 90 mm and a pitch of 12 mm, and the installed system has a block lifting capacity of 40 tons.
The block raising station is locked with zigzag wedges strongly. The station moves on two rigid chrome plated prismatic and two flat slides connected to 4 columns, preventing any deviation in the vertical axis.
80 flat diamond blades are connected to the hydraulic tensioning system that provides equal tension to each blade with tension tie rods.
There is an automatic brake stop, audible and light alarm system, if the oil is finished, the main bearings break down, the plate is broken, the flywheel speed decreased or any problem occurs.

Roller bearing guide way system working in the oil pool (saves energy compared to friction slides, has a longer life).

The lifting speed of the block to be cut can be adjusted automatically according to the hardness of the stone. Thanks to the sensors, cutting is made a constant pressure between multi blade saws and stone block.
The up and down movement of the cutting wagon is on the square of friction resistant precision guides (bronze slides) without vibration.
All the mechanical parts and gears we used in our machines are our own production and there is no shortage of spare parts.

The new PLX 2000 series supported with high technology, can reach top production speeds, whilst reducing consumption, maintenance and depreciation. THE SPINDLE: The PLX 2000 G features powerful, high precision polishing spindles with pneumatic working pressure which easily and perfect polishing any kind of granite.The spindles are entirely processed on CNC using highest quality of the material. Every spindle is assembled in the center of the mobile beam.
The spindles are working at their centre of gravity on the rotation axis so the mechanical play is reduced and this eliminates maintenance works.
The spindle has two electrical motors special tothed belt transmission system that the motors drive by prevents loosening or slipping of the spindles even under stress. The pneumatic system makes use through counter air pressure of the considerable spindle mass to obtain stability to the polishing heads. Counter pressure pneumatic system allows to polish fragile and delicate materials, with low working pressure. The machine controls the lifting movement of the spindles automaticly according to feeding the material
THE BEAM: The spindle holding beam is made of electro - welded steel and moves on exteremely wear resistant cast iron and alloyed bronze slideways. Sliding components are working in an oilbath and protected by stainless steel labyrinth seals. Beam movement is done by two motor reducer system located at the end of the beam to ensure constant and regular beam motion. The beam moves on two side bridges made of electrowelded steel and it has very strong structure to eliminate vibration during the operation. The synchronization shaft located the rear side of the beam provides uniform movement at both beam ends. The bridge moves on bronze alloyed slideways working in oil bath The adjustments, quick format changes and performing very rapid arrangements are some minor themes of high technological feedbacks manufactured for productive flexibility in this machine.
THE TABLE: The uniblock steel chasis designed to provide high rigidity and stability. The surface of the table covered by hard stainless steel to ensure long life of table and conveyor belt. At the ends of the table 2 turned belt drive rollers are installed one of which is free moving, and other one is motorized. The belt drive rollers are made of special steel. The belt is driven by a planetary type gear –motor to provide safe and uniform movement during the process. The conveyor belt speed adjustment is obtained by electronic frequency inverter.
ELECTRICAL AND WATER CONNECTION: The electrical and water connection between machine stationary part and the mobile beam is made by flexible cable chains which assure safer working conditions and a longer life for components. The polishing heads cooling water feed is performed by steel pipes which operates in a fixed position in the center of the spindle. The water cooling pipes can be removed very easily for the periodical clearing for calcereous substances. THE HEADS: A polishing head with swinging arms to hold the tools (abrasive or diamond) is mounted on each spindle. The motion of each swinging arm is obtained by an extremely precise, kinematical and mechanical system that reduce any clearance therefore ensuring low noise and long tools life. The particular geometry, the oscillation angle and frequency of the arms help to obtain high tools efficiency. The lubrication of the mechanical parts is by means of permanent oil bath with automatic lubrication pump. The even operation of the abrasive-holder arm controlled by a gear kinematical motion and the axial elasticity of the head provide large removals and high slab polishing level.
MACHINE CONTROL: The machine is controlled by a PLC (programable logic control) system with a 12 inch Touch Screen color panel for managing to synchronize all the processing parameters by easy interface and operator controls.
PAINT TREATMENT: Surface protected with two coats of bicomponent epoxy paint applied after sand blasting operation. -

OZKKM 700/500 AQUILA is monobloc bridge sawing machines that, thanks to the advanced functionality, allow every stone fabrication shop to be equipped with accurate and quick machines, without giving up quality. The standard versions of AQUILA 700/500 is monobloc, i.e.: mounted on a monolithic structure of steel carpentry that assures utmost rigidity and stability levels, with no need of any concrete foundation. For this reason, if necessary, they can be easily moved elsewhere. The monobloc configuration can be exploited also for using these machines as “building“ equipment, i.e. it can be placed time by time near the factory where the coating, flooring, etc. are being done.
OZKKM 700/500 AQUILA is the result of the most advanced designing on computer and the massive use of FEM”* analysis in order to reach a very high rigidity level of the bridge and structures. Even though it is a sawing machines, both have technical solutions similar to the ones of a CNC machine. All the movements of the axes are on linear bearings which do not need to be adjusted. The Bridge cutting machine monoblock structure of a completely steel chassis with no vibration provides a sensitive and rapid processing.
( AUTOMATIC ) The system takes the automatic mode, the hive moves manually down, the wagon moves automatically and starts to cut the salab and once the blade goes out of the slab it turns back to the start point and waites there.
( Semi-automatic ) The sizing data is entered on the screen and the system takes the sizing mode. The slab sizes are entered, the saw goes automatically down and starts to cut the slab and once it goes out of it, the hive moves automatically upwards and the saw goes to the start point. The bridge counts the required sizes and the hive comes down and starts to cut again. The Cutting work goes on till the given sizes and pieces are completely done.
( X-Y Full Automatic ) The screen takes the full automatic mode, the X-Y data is entered, the wanted length and pieces of the slab is enetered. The hive goes automatically down, the saw moves automatically and starts cutting the slab. Once finished, the hive moves automatically upwards and the saw goes back to the start point. Tour motor counts the sizes and the hive moves down again ( After the X cutting is done the system turns automatically the head saw and starts the Y sizing and it goes on like that till the work is completely done.)

The Tornado gang saw is the result of over 23 years of ZMK’s experience in the natural stone sector. The gang saw was designed for the quick sawing of marble blocks. The model Tornado is available in the versions with 80 and 100 blades. The blade frame is at a fixed height and moved by a double connecting rod, whilst the block carrying trolley is installed on a platform which rises towards the diamond blades.
The frame moves on a system of V type sliders that run along oil bath steel guides. Thanks to the use of special metals and mechanisms this is an extremely efficient, simple system with very low friction resistance that does not require complex dynamic or hydraulic mechanisms and requires very little maintenance.
The block lifer platform moves precisely up on 4 slides (2 flat and 2 prismatic) fixed to the columns and plated with a thick coat of chrome to guarantee a long working life. The lifting of the platform is guaranteed by four big screws of large diameter working perfectly synchronized. All slides are opportunely protected by rubber or stainless steel guards, as to avoid water infiltration and sawing residuals that could compromise the efficiency of the gang saw as time goes by.
The flywheel weight 9.500 Kg and made of a cast iron. The diameter of the flywheel is 3.500 mm which is one of the heaviest and largest flywheels in the market. It guarantees a constant cutting speed.
The system with two connecting rods provides clear and time tested advantages over a single connecting rod system. All the power and mechanical thrust transferred to the blade holder are shared between two connecting rods instead of just one.
ZMK’s gang saw is supplied with touch screen control panel. This system allows the complete supervision and programming of the cutting phases. In fact, this system enables to set various cutting speeds according to the different cutting phases (beginning, intermediate and final).
· 1 pcs transfer waggon and 2 pcs block waggon are available.
· The machine stops in case of lack water and water cuts.
· The power panel is placed over the ground to prevent it from getting affected by water.
· The plugs of block and transfer waggons are water resistant.
· The flywheel and connecting rods are surrounded by safety barriers.
· The machine is controlled by PLC and touch screen.
· The block waggon can be locked vertically and horizontally.
· The machine is able to be accessed by internet connection for determining the problems.
· 10 tons hydraulic tensioner and spacers are available.
· Slab break sensors are available.
