FLYER is a loading/unloading flying robot designed to handle stone slabs (marble, granite, or stone material). It can realize the “book match” process, reassembling them as they where before loading, without using rotating roller conveyor.
By using this robot on resin lines it is possible the direct loading of the slabs onto the trays. This option is extremely important in case of fragile or fractured material.
FLYER can be supplied with GRAB system which allows, in cooperation with suction cups, safe loading of travertine slabs and fragile materials.
FLYER is a further step of Prometec loaders. It has been designed for such cases where the available space on the ground is really small.
FLYER for loading operation, (such as for all automatic Prometec loading machines), is equipped with a detaching device avoiding to load two or more “stuck” slabs. More over this machine uses, during the loading operation, a weighing system which reduces the risk for loading more than one slab at a time.
All the movements of FLYER are controlled by means of inverter and by encoder, therefore all movements are extremely smooth and exact. FLYER is a machine easy to set up for any kind of requirements by means of a wide colors touch screen.

How does it work?
An impressive suction effect all over the perimeter of the XAGUA guides the stone* dust effectively inside the machine, where it is captured by nebulized water drops. The created air flow is forced several times to change direction and the centrifugal forces abate the muddy particles into the tank. Drop separators with lamellar structure inside the dust extraction bench retain the humidity inside. The continuous water overflow takes out the dirty water from the bench.
The compact and sturdy metal structure, protected by ceramic and epoxy paint, together with galvanized steel plates and the pvc drop separators assure a low sound pressure and the investment in the long term.

SOLVER is a an automatic loading carriage with titling table.

A deep material drying before the resin application is fundamental.
The process requires about 20-40 minutes to dry interior moisture according to the type of material and the set temperature.
Drying and pre-heating oven must have a dual action: dry moisture from the slabs and then heat them up to the suitable temperature for resining (40÷45°C).
Resinline plants use two types of ovens for the material drying and pre-heating:
. Tunnel of Wind, exclusive tunnel system.
. Drying Towers, multilevel ovens.
They both include the warm air recirculation.
The longitudinal tunnel drying system is composed of an insulated gallery with insulating panels, where the slabs enter from one side and exit from the opposite side.
The tunnel length is determined according to the quantity of slabs to be processed.
The warm air flows opposite to the material direction, heats the slab so that the moisture is first moved away and then totally dried during its passage into a heating exchanger, properly placed outside the tunnel.
The supports with the slabs move along the tunnel through a horizontal chain handling system, while two elevators placed at both ends transfer them upstairs.
The heating unit can be powered electrically, by methane or by LPG.

CAL 160 calibrating-polishing machine has been developed and carried out for calibrating and polishing marble strips or sized tiles and for removing possible defects coming from previous processes, in order to give to the product a homogeneous thickness and visual agreability.
