    KRONOS is a 5/6 axis interpolated milling/work center machine with automatic tool change. It is available in the version with a Z axis stroke of 600 mm or with a Z axis stroke of 800 mm.
    It is one of a kind machine as it combines the typical features of a milling cutter and those of a work center/contouring machine. The Parametrix software and the wooden overbench, allow to perform cutting operations as a traditional milling cutter; the KRONOS range, compared to the traditional working centers, is the sole solution offering specific software for simple and intuitive cutting. Without the overbench, the machine can be set up as a work center to process the piece directly on the aluminum bench or as a contouring machine, fixing the piece to the bench with the suctions cups kit supplied with the machine.
    The machine allows to produce items with extremely precise finishing, thanks to the sliding system of X and Y axes on linear guides and racks both in oil bath lubrication. The motion is given by brushless motors coupled to high precision gearboxes. It is equipped with a series of electro-spindles controlled by inverter and it can be fitted with ISO 40 type connection diamond tools, such as end mill, milling wheel and a horizontal blade.
    KRONOS is featured as a millling cutter and a work / contouring center, it is particularly suitable for all laboratories that want to increase their technological level in limited spaces.

    Machinery Function Features:

    Automatic machine for the waxing operation on marble, granite and similar stones slabs. A robust frame supports the movable beam and the wax distributor. Beam stroke, that adjusts automatically in relationship to slabs width, is driven through two pinion- rack synchronized systems with inverter adjusted speed. The spindles, equipped with rotating brushes are assembled onto movable beam.
    Automatic machine for the application of protecting products on the surface of marble, granite and similar stones slabs and strips.
    The products, such as waxes or protecting liquids, are dosed and directly applied on the material surface, uniformly distributed by means of a series of rotating brushes.
    The waxing machine is normally included in a continuous cycle automatic line placed after the material polishing and drying.
    The waxing machine M242 is manufactured in the following configurations:
    • With 4 or 6 spindles to process slabs up to 2200 mm width;
    • With 3 spindles to process strips up to 650 mm width.
    The waxing machine M242 is composed of a sturdy bridge structure which supports the mobile beam housing the spindles which drive the rotating brushes.
    The bridge structure allows to install the machine on a motorized roller bench, already existing or to be separately supplied as well.
    All parts have undergone structural checks following the FEM (Finite Element Method) and their precision ensures perfect machine geometry and correct assembly on site.
    The machine surface is protected with a three-layer paint cycle applied after the sandblasting operation.
    A suitable fiberglass door, which can be opened upwards,allows the machine access for maintenance and, at the same time, it acts as a locking and safety system to prevent accidental opening.
    The beam translation movement is driven by two pinion/rack synchronized systems with inverter-controlled speed and is automatically adjusted according to the slabs width.
    The spindles, with automatic up and down movement and pneumatic driving, are equipped with interchangeable rotating brushes and mounted onto the mobile beam.
    The product distribution on the surface is performed through a pump fixed on the machine structure which, by means of a proper pipe, directly draws from the product container.
    The general electric panel is mounted on the rear machine structure and is protected against dust and water in compliance with IP 54 standard (EN 60529).
    The main control panel is placed on the front of the machine and includes a touch-screen PLC for the automatism management.
    Each single spindle is equipped with an auxiliary control panel with exclusion switch and working pneumatic pression adjustment.

SUPERNOVA B065GV, that has been upgraded with exclusive technology, achieves top level productivity, quality and flexibility whilst reducing consumption, maintenance and depreciation.
    Exclusive polishing heads drive technology that reduces energy and abrasive consumption and eliminates maintenance. The polishing heads are operated through patented ROTOR direct drive spindles assembled in the centre of the mobile beam and equipped with an easy-to-use individual device for the precision centring. The direct drive, that works without transmission belts and grooved shafts, avoids radial stress on the spindle bearings, increases their life significantly whilst saving about 15% of the absorbed energy, eliminates maintenance. All spindle components have the centre of gravity on the spindle rotation axis and their considerable weight, that includes the motors and is controlled by counter-pressure, stabilizes the polishing heads action.     EASYEDGE V7S - VERTICAL EDGE POLISHER WITH OSCILLATING MOTION OF THE SPINDLES

    Easyedge V7 is specially designed to polish straight, flat edges and to perform the upper and lower chamfers on natural and compound stone panels placed upright. The polishing spindle unit is designed with oscillating motion in order to guarantee the maximum polishing degree, independently of thickness.

    At the entry, the machine is equipped with a spindle which performs the profile-shaping of the edges, or the gauging of the piece lower part, or the “drip board cut”. Because of its simple design, the Easyedge V7, which is delivere completely assembled, can be rapidly installed and started, even without the intervention of the Manufaturer’s skilled technicians. It can be floor-anchored and does not require any foundations.

    The processing water is collected inside the machine and then conveyed to the point of discharge. The Easyedge V7 can polish materials up to 60 mm thick: the simple manual adjustment of the lateral presser bar according to the thickness of the piece to be worked is sufficient.

    The standard machine is supplied fully equipped with:

    - 1 spindle to perform the edge profile-shaping, or the thickness gauging, or the “drip board” carving.

    The robotized application was created by Breton with Optidrive, a company specialized in Kuka anthropomorphic robot software and integration.

    This robotized application allows to automatically position even large workpieces (up to 3.400x1.600m) on the pods, taking them from the feeding roller conveyor in a mere 34 seconds.

    When the job is finished, the robot places the machined slab on the unloading roller conveyor, while discharging chips and automatically washing the work table.
