Frestag is the CAM suitable for 3-axes stone-working centres and more in general for the stone industry. The non-interpolated lathe machining is supported as well.
Focusing on the user-friendly aspect, it does not need particular IT skills and can been used from all the operators indistinctly. The user interface (UI) acts as a wizard, leading the user during the processing steps and reducing the probability of making errors during the programming phase.
DRAWING AND DESIGNING
Starting with the 2D entities of Logotag it is possible to reproduce:
sinks, quarries and pockets
mouldings and handrails
shower plates and drips
columns
Depending on the piece to reproduce, the users select the entities from the X-Y plane of the drawing (TAG, DWG, DXF) to import for Frestag.
The graphic engine of Frestag is responsible for visualising the processing paths.
PROCESSES
Users can program different machining for:
3-axes profiles and contouring sections; roughing and polishing steps are available while tool sequences (e.g. 3 diamond tools + 3 polishing tools) allow the user to program the processes in few steps
quarry with a router bit and parallel or concentric passes
quarry with a blade tool and parallel passes
tapering for shower plates and similar
dripping for kitchen countertops
drilling
polishing
concave / convex machining
non-interpolated lathe
Taking this into account, if a specific part is to be made independently from the CNC machine, the functioning cycles are computed so that the software can be easily interfaced to multiple stone working centres. The post-processor translates all the processes in the proper language of the CNC to use to evaluate the CNC machine capabilities (e.g. automatic tool changer, rotating table, and aggregate head).
TOOLS
The tool database contains router bit (flat, bullnose, conical), shaped tools, blades, and aggregates.
Users can automatically or manually set the vacuums to lock the pieces.

Marble bench saw ITC AV/AA with toothed belt-drive transmission system. Perfect for both building sites and for small-medium marble-works. OUTPUT

PUMP
MSK drafts the waste water by a high-head immersion pump from a collection pit (existing or to built). The pump is fully automatic.
CONSTRUCTION
Any Parts that have contact with water and mud are built completely in galvanized or stainless steel, which guarantees a long life time of MSK. There are no moving parts which cut down the time for the maintenance.
FUNCTION SHORTCUT
An immersion pump is positioned in the waste water pit. The hydro cyclone separates the mud from the water. The cleaner water turn back to the pit.
NO CHEMICALS
BIOGERIA uses no polyelectrolyte solution (flocculants) to speed up the process.
WASTE WATER DRAFT
An immersion pump is positioned in the waste water collection point. A swim switch that is delivered with the pump controls the water level in your pit.
SUSPENSION CHAMBER
The suspension chamber prepares the mud for the hydro cyclone. In the chamber the mud get mixed with water. The pump in top of the suspension chamber invites the suspension to the hydro cyclone.
REVERSE LINE
The reverse line of the hydro cyclone ends at the bottom of the suspension chamber. The water from the reverse line solves the solid mud.
HYDRO CYCLONE
A hydro cyclone has three exits, two on the axis and one tangential inlet: one smaller on the bottom (underflow or reject) and a larger at the top (overflow or accept). The underflow is generally the denser or thicker fraction, while the overflow is the lighter or more fluid fraction. The tangential inlet with accelerator feeds the hydro cyclone with the suspension. Internally, centrifugal force is countered by the resistance of the liquid, with the effect that larger or denser particles are transported to the wall for eventual exit at the reject side with a limited amount of liquid. The conical form of the hydro cyclone force the cleaner fraction to reverse direction and exit at the overflow side through a tube extending slightly into the body of the cyclone at the center.

Incisione is an option of the CAD Logotag and it has been developed to create text and decoration on sheets, edges or contoured surfaces.
Logotag recognizes the fonts available on Windows (TTF). Users can automatically import all the desired fonts, character by character, either uppercase or lowercase and italic, assigning to the software the conversion of arcs and lines to be interpreted as coordinates of movement for the CNC.
FONT IMPORT
There are three types of imports: 2D font (F2D), 3D font (F3D) and centerline.
F2D converts only the edges of the font, allowing it to make incisions along the external profile of the letters. Alternatively, you can export created and hollow text by using Frestag, closing profiles with the processing of spiral pocketing (termine tecnico).
F3D generates the toolpath to be followed with the tapered drill. The user can change the engraving parameters according to the available tool. The software automatically changes the Z in accordance with the geometrical properties of the character to engrave and backs them up as a “draft” automatically at the edges.
Centerline is a variant of F3D: it was set up because of some particular needs of the customers who wanted to export only the center line of each character, dividing it into two parts as if you had traced a middle line. Using the centerline you get an engraving with fixed Z, with an even depth along the entire profile. The width of the engraving profile is determined automatically according to the tool diameter, the taper of the tool and Z set.
You can eventually import special characters provided by the various manufacturers of letters (Pilla, Biondan, Caggiati, etc.). Typically, these fonts have a fixed height and the holes to drill.
TEXT AND PROFILES MANAGEMENT
The text tool allows the user to create an engraved sentence simply and quickly, controlling spacing and justification.
The engraving function works also on all the closed profiles created with Logotag to get frames and decorations or to reproduce images, provided that the source file meets the same essential specifications.

It is thus a realization which represents a cooperation between the experience of the technicians of this field and Mordenti, a Company distinguished by the high construction reliability, which has allowed to increase considerably the hourly output of the granite gang saws, to assure machine functionality in the long run, equip it with automatic lubrication, operation and control systems together with suitable structures of the various components which guarantee limited investement and maintenance costs in relation to the production achievable.
The important innovation and technological heart of the machine is the interesting patented mechanical application which allows the blade frame to be lifted and fed several times with the normal abrasive mixture during its wide rectilinear cutting phase and give contemporaneusly a percussion action in the descent phase.
The combination of the lifting stroke and force action is adjustable in intensity and frequency depending on the material that is being sawn and the hourly feeds required. Furthermore, at the ends of the stroke, the blade frame rises much more than the other present gangsaws and this increases the feed of the abrasive mixture, all flexible and integrated to the results one wants to achieve.
The combination and use of these three factors has brought a considerable advantage to granite sawing without being particularly burdensome but as a matter of fact allowing to increase remarkably the hourly feed and the sawing time of the block by bringing a considerable technological development to this field in connection with the modern production systems and absolute cutting precision also for 11 mm. thick slabs.
The movement of the blade frame is clearly different from those presently on the market as with the patented system the stroke of rectilinear movement is adjustable and there is wide lifting in the reversal points. This allows greater contact between blades and block and a considerable supply of the abrasive mixture due to adjustable amplitude of the rectilinear stroke and rise of the blade frame.
The patented device which eliminates the oscillating arms, silentblock and other infrastructures relative to the traditional gang saws is made up of a sector with variable radius of curvature with counter part on tempered flat guide with relative gears for the phasing of the blade frame movement. All is held in proper boxes in oil bath arranged at the ends of the frame members together with other particulars that with very rational and simple solution assure rectilinear movements of the blades and high removing capacity in time. This solution also allows to have shorter columns considering blocks of the same height. The main features that highlight the gang saw Turbomord are:

This is a fully automated, high-performance edge-polishing machine which is unique in its characteristics. This production line equipment is the result of the union of the flat edge polisher and the profiling edge machine.
Thanks to a rotation beam the new KOMBITAURUS has the capability of creating any shape on any kind of material and also fitted with a further oscillating beam it is also able to create the pencil round profile which is now big demanded by the stone masons. The control of all functions and different programs is fully automated and maximum workable thickness on flat edge is 100 mm and 60 mm on when profilling.
Thanks to its versatility KOMBITAURUS can easy make anything from the simple step or window sills up to the kitchen-countertop. The operator can with the ease program on the control panel that is on an arm bracket the whole working phases and thanks to the 10 inches full colour touch screen display, the control of every single steps of each profile becomes really intuitive and easy-to-program, furthermore this machine is equipped also with the semi-automatic function. Thanks to a proven system of more than 30 years, the maintenance of the edge-polishing machine has been reduced to simple adjustments. The air pressure of all polishing wheels is automatic controlled when shaping and it is always possible to regulate the air pressure outlet of each spindle during all processing cycles.
The machine is complete with 8 spindles for profiling and the first one is the rough shaping wheel than the machine has also 7 spindles for flat side polishing with oscillating system to ensure a good granite polishing. No working limits for KOMBITAURUS!
