Incisione is an option of the CAD Logotag and it has been developed to create text and decoration on sheets, edges or contoured surfaces.
Logotag recognizes the fonts available on Windows (TTF). Users can automatically import all the desired fonts, character by character, either uppercase or lowercase and italic, assigning to the software the conversion of arcs and lines to be interpreted as coordinates of movement for the CNC.
FONT IMPORT
There are three types of imports: 2D font (F2D), 3D font (F3D) and centerline.
F2D converts only the edges of the font, allowing it to make incisions along the external profile of the letters. Alternatively, you can export created and hollow text by using Frestag, closing profiles with the processing of spiral pocketing (termine tecnico).
F3D generates the toolpath to be followed with the tapered drill. The user can change the engraving parameters according to the available tool. The software automatically changes the Z in accordance with the geometrical properties of the character to engrave and backs them up as a “draft” automatically at the edges.
Centerline is a variant of F3D: it was set up because of some particular needs of the customers who wanted to export only the center line of each character, dividing it into two parts as if you had traced a middle line. Using the centerline you get an engraving with fixed Z, with an even depth along the entire profile. The width of the engraving profile is determined automatically according to the tool diameter, the taper of the tool and Z set.
You can eventually import special characters provided by the various manufacturers of letters (Pilla, Biondan, Caggiati, etc.). Typically, these fonts have a fixed height and the holes to drill.
TEXT AND PROFILES MANAGEMENT
The text tool allows the user to create an engraved sentence simply and quickly, controlling spacing and justification.
The engraving function works also on all the closed profiles created with Logotag to get frames and decorations or to reproduce images, provided that the source file meets the same essential specifications.

Basement group:
The basement is made up of one rubber conveyor belt with anti slip tooth surface slides manufactured in order to obtain the maximum stability, precision of work and longer life.
This group is formed by:
- Basement of welded steel.
- Milled steel plates welded on the basement where the abrasive stones are acting.
- Driving roller and tensioning belt roller, with a special device that permits to adjust the conveyor belt stretch.
- Splash and lateral guards in order to avoid coming out of water.

Bridge:
Made up of electrowelded steel with high mechanical resistance with n°10 spindles prearranged to hold grinding polishing plate prearranged to hold the abrasive stones. The bridge is sliding on rectified and protected steel guides with adjustable speed by means of hydraulic motor controlled by a hydraulic central unit of 5,5 HP.

Slabspresence reader device:

This system allows to anticipate or postpone, directly from the control board the lifting lowering of the plate in order to follow the speed of the belt and to modify the lateral position of the sensors according to an eventual defect of the block.

The static store is characterised by the fact that the frame containing the slab is inserted at a level or floor of the store and is left there until the end of the thermal treatment that, according to the position in the line, may be drying of the slab or polymerisation of the resin applied to it. The store is equipped with a thermal unit that distributes hot air in a balanced way to the various floors as well as along the slab.
The power of the thermal unit varies according to the number of floors and also according to the use of the store (drying of slabs or polymerisation of the resin).

The ITC ST is top of the range stone bench saws for construction sector. Their structure in stainless steel ensures maximum resistance to corrosive processes and atmospheric agent. The head runs on chrome-plated guides by means of linear recirculating ball bearings with anti-dust protection. Manual inclination of the bridge for cuts from 90° to 45°. The machine features:
2 slab conveyors with manually adjusted width for processing slabs of different sizes. Alongside each conveyor there is a guide to keep the slab aligned
4 drilling units, 2 on each side of the machine, which can travel along the whole length of the machine
2 cutting units for the pocket placed above two drilling units on each side of the machine
2 cutting units for slot/kerf placed above two drilling units on each side of the machine
2 mechanical stops to hold the slab in position during processing.
Work cycle
Processing occurs when the slab is not moving. The two conveyors move the slab to the mechanical stops. Before reaching them, speed is reduced to allow for smooth, precise positioning.
Then, drilling and pocket cutting are performed, or slots and kerfs are made. Once processing is over, the slab is moved backwards, the two mechanical stops retract, and the conveyors bring the slab to the discharge point.
A new slab is placed on the conveyors, and cycle is started again.

Handling
Spindle handilng along the whole length of the machine and of the two carts is operated along precision guides by means of recirculating ball slide guides.
Motion is operated by precision rolled screws with recirculating ball bushes and precision gearboxes. The four spindles and the two carts are operated by brushless motors coupled with precision gearboxes and driven by electronic drivers which are in turn CNC-operated.
Precision in positioning
Precision in positioning is lower than +/- 0.2 mm.
Output
Depending on the material used (marble, tender or hard granite) the typical hole with 6-8 mm diameter and 25-30 mm depth is completed in 20-30 seconds. The distance between two slabs is about 20 cm which entails a motion time of about 20 seconds. Therefore, 4 holes are completed in 40-50 seconds, with an output of 290-360 holes per hour. The average repositioning time is about 5 seconds.
Lubrication
Lubrication of moving parts is centralized and automated. An automated lubrication cycle for periods when the machine is not used is also available.
Positioning system
It is automated thanks to an industrial computer. The operator must set slab width, hole position with reference to the mechanical stops, make requests for holes with or without pocket, and the automatic system will provide the necessary motions for the drilling heads and the carts.
Once the machine is positioned, the automated work cycle is started.
The height of the drilling spindles is adjusted by using a motor-reducer operated by two buttons on the spindle columns.
4 holes on each side of the slab can be made, along with two pockets on one side, as well as slots, prolonged slots, and kerfs.
The computer features also the following utilities:
Generation of drilling programs, storing of the programs by code (brand), list of and changes to the programs (on the machine) sorted by order
Generation of drilling programs, storing of the programs by code (brand), list of and changes to the programs on PC so that they can be later stored in the machine by using a floppy disc, and sorted by order
Displaying of drilling programs
Displaying of machine status (diagnostics)
