Brembana Formax Jet is a Numerically Controlled 5 interpolated-axis bridge saw equipped with tilting head and fixed table. It can carry out any type of machining, cutting (straight or shaped, vertical or inclined), 3D profiling and milling operations, on marble, granite, composite stone, and ceramic as well as stone blocks.
The machine is equipped with an abrasive waterjet cutting head that, working in combination with the diamond disk, enables automating natural and composite stone slab cutting operations when interfering cuts and internal angles are a factor. The AWJ head, integral with the main head, allows variable and small radius cutting, which would be impossible with just the diamond disk.

QUADRIX DV 1100 is a medium-sized numeric control cutting and shaping center with 5 interpolated axes having Z axis stroke 1000 mm, rotary head, prepared for single or incremental – pass cutting and shaping processes for the performance of marble, granite, stone and sintered materials products. It is suitable for oblique, circular, elliptical, inclined cuts, rectilinear, concave, convex, arched, elliptic shapes, excavations of two-dimensional and three-dimensional slabs.
The possibility to mount blade having max diameter of 1100 mm grants the possibility to cut up to 410 mm thickness .
QUADRIX DV 1100 allows to produce large dimensions items but also to perform extremely precise finishing; a high production is granted by the sliding system of X and Y axes on linear guides and racks both in oil bath lubrication. The motion is given by brushless motors coupled to high precision gearboxes. Touch Drive uses the know-how gained over thirty years of experience in the machining based on numerical controls to make “easy” the use of automatic machines.

OPERATION
The real time dialogue with the machine allows the user to program the machining operations starting from the current state of the machine.
The use of recording tools such as cameras allows an immediate feedback on the effects of the current programming, avoiding possible issues.
The extreme simplicity of use is achieved through specific algorithms able to determine the best conditions automatically to carry out the operations. No long list of parameters is required, unless the operator wants it.
Touch Drive has been developed by taking into account the skills of the machine operators of the different geographical markets to ensure an easy use of technologies that currently require specialized staff.

Touch Drive is suitable for CNC machines starting from simple 3-axes machines to finish with 5-axes working centres equiped with camera systems.
Shapes can be created through a library of parametric drawings provided with the software or can be imported from existing drawing files (TAG, DXF, DWG).
Users can position the parts to cut manually on the touch screen or automatically, through different nesting strategies optimized to take into account the characteristics of the machines and the cutting. The collision detection system avoids overlaps between pieces and ensures a correct cutting plan.
The software can be configured according to material/thickness to have different cutting qualities while the lead-in/leadouts can vary for different parts.

Featuring the possibility to work both as a saw and a contouring machine, the EXCEL FC is made in the version with disc of 1000 mm in diameter, run of the Z axis of 1200mm and motor of 30 kw. The electrospindle that can use fingerbits, shaped tools and cutting discs represents the hearth of the machine. The possibility to rotate from 0 to +370 and to incline the head from 0 to 180 automatically, along with the high degree of accuracy of the movements and high speed, assure complex processing in an accurate and quick way.
